It still sort-of works. I had to use a sledgehammer to destroy a CrafTec door I had placed in error because deconstructing it didn't make it go away, and I was able to indefinitely take the door using Eggon's All Doors Are Yours mod. Maybe the issue is that I placed the CrafTec door inside a vanilla Carpentry frame? I'm not sure.

what about, groups of furnitures or even entire houses, maybe some predefined structures that need to be built in time, like modular building your base, that would be interesting, now that the admin brush has been released

Great stuff. You could build some new features in, this mod have a potential to be the best in class. I would really like to be able to build a shelter in the woods, for example, from sticks and stones combined with new foraging system.
I have few ideas that I need to put together as a concept.

As a apart note, we have found a bug, or malfunction, in theory. It is possible to access the craftec menu, to build something, even when there is a building covering the square. But after that, we can not interact with the construction. We can not begin, continue, or deconstruct it.

I remember that in previous builds of vanilla happened the same thing at the time of grab the corpses.

I am currently using this mod on my server with a few friends. The realism that adds to the game is incredible. Thank you very much for the mod.

Is there any possibility that the mod will be updated soon for use of the multistage vanilla function?

not sure if it is this mod, or somethingg else i'm usingg, haen't gone through and used only this mod alone. But, ever since I've installed this mod, i'm no longger able to add sheet ropes to windows so i can climb up and down to the 2nd story of my house. Kind of an issue when I plan to make a new base in the woods with no ground floor access.

hope it's not youur mod causeing it. will look into thhe issue to make sure. causue I loe using youur mod for building and haiving the ability ot partially make thinggs and then come back with more supplies when I have them.

Would love adjusting wall health as an option. So fort building doesn't come down to 'find base, knock out stairs' like it currently does.

Thanks! This mod doesn't have much - if any - overlap with More building. This mod here changes the way things are built - and has hooks fro other mods to use. More building adds a lot many more options to build in the game.
While More building could very well hook into Craftec, there's no "common goal" I'm afraid.

No its just that i've seen a very detailed and conent filled mod on furnneture from the game its self. and its really well done and has added features
(It was nothing but Chinese/Japanese so no supprise XD)

Hmm, that's weird, but the check for rain collectors is weird in the first place. I'll have to do some tests starting with creating an actual dedicated server and will get back to you.

Precision: When i right click on a rain collector built with your mod, i've the normal contextual menu without the "rain collector" neither "fill bottle", and if I build one the normal way just right by, i can right click and see the actions. Only tried on a roof so far.

Thanks for the quick answer. So i've checked no error coming from your mod, it load fine in server and client side. I've tried to disable it and restart the server, the object i couldn't continue to build had disapear but there was still the wooden floor. And the rain collector I've build trough ur mod still dont work =/ they are on a roof, maybe it could come from here?

Hi, I'm running your mod on my server steam, and even if it's great, sometimes when I put an object to build I cant continue it, netheir destroy it. And I've build several rain collector and they dont seem to work. Do you have any idea how i could fix that? thanks

It was really made with multiplayer in mind, but personally I also use it in single player. With the last update, you even get more carpentry XP for everything taking > 30 minutes to build.
OTOH, it takes longer to build.

This mod doesn't disable the legacy Build method, so you can try it along with the original functionality.

5 minutes is really among the lowest you can get and still have a reasonable playing experience. With the default 1-hour in-game days that translates to 12 real-time seconds for one sandbag wall.

That being said, I'm open for suggestions on the durations. I took a guess at how long it would probably take for the things to be considered realistic, but still fun.

5 minuets to make one sandbags, that would get too much without the ability to skip time so i can't see it getting much use in multiplayer, purely because of the time it takes.

That being said i think it's a much better way of doing things, planning out builds before hand is awesome.

I hope you find the drive to keep modding you make great content and indie stone need people like you, i have bad feelings about the game lately.

Also, have you considered having each object type to have it's own scaffolding graphic, so it would be easier to know what it should look like when constructions are done?

Sorry, I deleted my comment without realizing you were actively responding. I actually found out what my problem was.. I somehow idiotically removed the mod from the loaded list. So my modified version allows building with dowels and nails =D.

Compatibility could be easily created. Just extend the recipelist if dowelmod is active (or better have the dowel mod hook into this one, as that's the technically better way to do it).

Also, I updated this yesterday. Everyone working on a project will get 0.1 points of experience per minute he's been working. So if a project takes 60 minutes and you work on it alone, you get 6 points of experience sliced into 60 times 0.1 experience point. This way, everyone working gets his share of experience.
Normal multipliers still apply.
