If you want the right starting funds to test/play within the editor, select save (not save and test) and then the red cross to close the editor and play. You will have the right funds then too.

Hi Purringcat - you set the starting funds in the starting conditons tab, along with era, population etc. Once it's been saved and uploaded, you can play it under new game/workshop mission and it will have the correct settings. If you're in the editor, and select save and test, it will default to $5000 - no idea why but it does. Perhaps that's the trouble you're having?

How did you get the editor to accept your starting funds? It keeps defaulting to $5000 for me.

Hi there! To play this map, first hit the subscribe button above and wait for steam to download it. Start Tropico and select new game, then select workshop mission. Choose or create a dynasty, then when that's done, the list of missions you've subscribed to will appear. Select Huge Sandbox and it will start!
