Yeah. I actually noticed it back in July, planned to split the AH stuff into a separate mod, and then completely forgot about it once I started modding again.
Done. When I have more time I'll see what I can do about getting it save hats, or at least restore them when Alien Hunters armor is unequipped.
Yes, as far as I've seen. I've used Long War's SMG Pack, and the skin is saved for that weapon introduced there, so I'd assume so.

The mod saves weapon customization when the rookie spawns and wherever weapon customization can be changed, then restores it on promotion. So if you give a rookie a different weapon and never recustomize it, their starting squaddie gear gets recolored according to the assault rifle. If you're asking if equipping a squaddie+ with a different weapon would keep the customization, then no.
I do have alot of mods installed but this one seems to want to fail and skip the first mission (which in my opinion, doing legendary, is no big deal)
first thing you see starting a new game is the mission failed flying back to base instead of loading screen on the way to the mission?????
