Respected Skyline5gtr. Using color schemes is not prohibited by copyright. Is prohibited to use images. In my case, that if I put a picture of R2D2 on texture. You can not use the name R2D2. If acted ban on color schemes, it would be possible to sue the entire world)

Looks great but pretty sure you did violate the rules.

"While it is fine to use reference for inspiration your finish cannot contain elements from copyrighted works, reference to other IP’s, or make use of any images or material that you do not own."

R2 color scheme is a clear reference to another IP (Star Wars)

I believe the Polycount rules say that anything based off of anything would not be able to enter the competition, in this case R2D2, but damn that's a beautiful skin.
