can you give us a material breakdown

i know no ship can go past 40 m/s but it just FEELS like the Ripley is begging too like it just wants more speed alLthe time and i love that feeling in that beast of a bomber it dosent go down easily and takes a beating for quite while. Great design. i hope they impliment a repair pad you can land on and it will detect and repair all blocks of a ship hidden Thrusters wouldnt be such an issue then but thats really the only issue

I've been using and testing this particular SV for a while now and I would give it a 8/10. Bad Stuff: Exposed fuel tank in the back (easily corrected by adding a couple thin hull walls to cover it up), and more importantly, you can't reach the thrusters to repair the one's damaged in combat. Good Stuff: Incredibly durable, good on gas, agility is on par (6/10), and good firepower. I've taken on 4 POI's in a row and when I stopped to repair all that was damaged were some hull blocks and 4 thrusters. Only ended up missing a couple hull blocks on the nose and leading adge of the wings but those are easily replaced. Good SV, Decent support capability (Ability to transport supplies and food), and surprisingly durable with great endurance. Keep it up :-)

@ICY I love hearing your stories on how you are enjoying ZeroG ships. It brings a smile to my face that you take the time to tell me your tales! Such enjoyment! It is not often enough someone takes that kind of time.
Also fighting is dirty buisness, sometimes we have to limp back home for repairs. But coming back from a close encounter and living to tell the tale is quite a thrill, hmm?!

I would suggest checking out @Yuma for their hard work and a great functioning Repair station!

As always I have lots of builds going at any givien moment and it just so happens i have been tossing a few design ideas for the next ZeroG military build, Hicks. Ill keep the wingspan down and concentrate armor in a few key areas! Thank you for the feedback and support!

This is an amazing creation that is racking up a lot of operating hours with us. It fills its intended role very well. We send these in to make the initial attack runs on installations to take care of defenses. We can easily attack with precision and are keen on making sure the underside is pointed at incoming fire whenever possible. Of course taking hits to the topside is disasterous but that's just the tradeoff in this design, and used in its intended role, should never be exposed to dangers on that side anyway. We have field modified ours and removed the two outboard guns as the guns were seeing little use in combat, often being used for opportunistic strafing runs on drones and the like. Maintenance is, as we've come to expect from Zero-G ships, extremely easy.

One minor issue we've come across is the wingspan makes it somewhat difficult to ferry these. Another much loved vessel and taking the time to provide feedback and our experiences with it!

out of curiousity, ive modified this ship to be more Harrier/Space Fighter-ish rather than wide winged bomber-esque, and wondered if you would like the BP of it. I did not make the original ship so i wont post it, however it flies extremely well and has all of the same buffs as you had on it, however i use missiles a lot less so the weapons have been changed to 3 Gatling and 1 rocket launcher (keeping it low tech) all centered around the aiming reticle and easy to aim/target

ALSO! im partially colorblind and cant see red shades very well so everything red is now blue ^_^
ShadowRavenRaz 24 May, 2016 @ 8:30pm
I love this one. Spent alot of time fixing it up after combat, didn't change a thing and took it back out (Survival). Will be continuing to use this model, thank Zero-G!

Not a fan of this plane, unfortunately. It's clunky and not too privvy with the enclosed cockpit, especially in PvP. Unsubscribed.
clearbeard 23 May, 2016 @ 7:03pm
Nice aesthetic, but cockpit visibility is rather low and lateral thrust seems lethargic. Could just be my flying style, definitely looks kick ass!
Weevah 21 May, 2016 @ 5:49pm
Very clever design. Visually appealing but agile and effective in combat.

Includes O2 station, fridge and small constructor making it a mobile outpost.

Requires only Iron, Copper, Cobalt and Silicon to build in 2 hours.
Snowbeard 20 May, 2016 @ 12:15pm
That is drop dead gorgeous, love the aesthetic, definite subscribe.
Jenniphurr  [author] 19 May, 2016 @ 3:20am
Thank you everyone!
Nexis 19 May, 2016 @ 2:00am
Very cool futuristic Design :) I give a Thumb up and Subscribe. Think i have a new favorite.
Bluford 18 May, 2016 @ 9:31pm
WOW.. absolutely love this ship. Amazing design! Sharp and sexy, this is my new main SV :D

Some of the hype around the "pre-alpha" blocks is just that. The fact that the official alpha version of the game still contains numerous supposedly problematic pre-alpha blocks is one indicator that circumstances are not as dire as indicated. I've spent the last 2 days testing on a private dedicated server, and I have been unable to discern a difference between the supposed results of using legitimate pre-alpha blocks, and results from using post alpha blocks. Furthermore, and possibly most telling, I have received no complaints about any of my ship designs which include pre-alpha blocks malfunctioning in Alpha.
Eska 16 May, 2016 @ 12:17am
Beautiful design yet again. Regarding the 'pre-alpha chicanery' it is anything but such.

Specifically, the blocks effected are the ones that no longer exist in the Alpha version of the game. This is generally missed with one main block, the old standard and only hull block, which many assume just to be the 'light armor' block now as they are quite similar. You can tell if it is a pre-alpha hull block by hitting the individual block with a texture tool set to blank. The old hull blocks will revert to the default sectional armor look (for reference, the now texture you designed on the black blocks in this build) whilst the new light armor blocks will revert to the blank smooth appearance, or the riveted design for heavy blocks.

For clarity, the texture if applied with the gun is fine as are any bits added whilst in pre-alpha. It is only the base block used that can have such an affect.
Griffo 15 May, 2016 @ 11:48pm
You sir, are a master, TOP work
Vertox 15 May, 2016 @ 4:19pm
Loving your designs Jenniphurr. Can't wait to see your future creations =D
Rhunin 15 May, 2016 @ 4:04pm
Having Spawned one in, im noticing a whole lot of features ive never thought of, you truly are creative ^_^ only issue is the Fuel Cell is left undefended, one top shot missile could wipe that out so maybe put some railings over it or something? :) keep it up
Rhunin 15 May, 2016 @ 3:58pm
Im curious as to which cockpit you used (unless it was a small capital ship or used an unreleased cockpit) but beautiful work, given me new insight as to how to build my own fighters ^_^
Unthinkable 15 May, 2016 @ 10:10am
Ничё так =)

Your stuff is amazing keep up the good work!
Jenniphurr  [author] 15 May, 2016 @ 7:29am
@Mcyology - Thank you I do try to work hard at setting myself from others. Its relaxing to just build designs! I love it! It is slow going process for me as life is rather busy atm. But do not worry I have tons of half finished builds that I am slowly working on finishing. <- I have to work on multiple builds as I will go absolutely crazy if I only work on one at a time!
Jenniphurr  [author] 15 May, 2016 @ 7:27am
@Mycology Ya I agree - this pre-alpha stuff is rather annoying. But no worries I am still building even if i am going slow . I really appericate you commenting and supporting!
Parks 15 May, 2016 @ 7:22am
Absolutly stunning design btw 8)...I was going to comment this at first but then i saw the pre-alpha chicanery and felt compelled to let the truth be known so no more people needlessly delete perfectly good blueprints.
Parks 15 May, 2016 @ 6:46am
Jenniphurr do not believe the BS about pre alpha blocks. An a$$hat named Captian Durall (Terracon admin/previous admin for BLG) started this unfounded rumor just so he could fill his PVP lust to destroy peoples work since he is incapable at legit PVP. Now idiots from all over are falling in line to believe this garbage. IMO people like durall and Nero should be reported for trolling.
Jenniphurr  [author] 14 May, 2016 @ 4:08am
@The Tiger Strikes Thanks for the feedback! Ill get Ripley back in and address the drifting issue.
Its been a busy week for me but I'll get Ripley in an fix that concern!~
The Tiger Strikes 14 May, 2016 @ 2:27am
I Agree very nice well made unfortunatly i found it very hard to control kept drifting over to the left i guess it needs more side ways thrusters
KOT 13 May, 2016 @ 5:33am
Very Nice!!!
Ionicvision 12 May, 2016 @ 8:21am
this one is real nice
Bananenzombie 9 May, 2016 @ 4:08pm
nice work, this sweet was docked on my vessel.
keep it up make more of this models
Krieg 9 May, 2016 @ 12:38pm
No problem, I just want to make sure more people know. I'm not sure the devs are aware, but I have seen a post on the Empyrion forums about it. The more people who know the faster the devs can ge tthis fixed, or at the very least address the issue.
Jenniphurr  [author] 9 May, 2016 @ 11:17am
@Nero Vasaeri Thank you for summing that up. At this time I can tell you that Ripley was built from scratch in Alpha. Any textures that are on there, I have put on myself.
Krieg 9 May, 2016 @ 10:47am
I said published in pre alpha when i meant CREATED in pre alpha. Some BPs on the workshop are pre alpha even though they were published after the alpha was released.
Krieg 9 May, 2016 @ 10:46am
Only the blocks that were placed in pre alpha, for example if you spawn a blueprint that was published in pre alpha those blocks will be the bugged ones, also the blocks on the different starter blocks are pre alpha, you can tell by their texture. All the starter BPs are pre alpha as well. You can check blocks by using a texture tool and selecting the default texture at the top left, if the block reverts to being blank with no lines or textures it is Alpha, if it reverts to one with random looking lines across it, it is pre alpha.
Jenniphurr  [author] 9 May, 2016 @ 8:26am
@Nero Vssaeri I was unaware of this issue. What blocks are affected? This is a new ship that I just started on 5\3\16. If I need to change something I will. Thanks in advance~
Krieg 9 May, 2016 @ 8:11am
Blocks from Pre Alpha Empyrion cause memory leaks ingame, this can cause playfields to become corrupted. Most large servers have rules against spawning in pre alpha BPs because of this.
Jenniphurr  [author] 9 May, 2016 @ 3:34am
@OG Bling Bong Ripley was designed and made after Alpha was released. What blocks are you refering too?
Maximus Prime 8 May, 2016 @ 7:49pm
does it have pre alpha blocks?
