Don't bother.
Due to the fact that Machi seems uninterested in updating this mod, I have a fix.
Go to Steam/steamapps/common/stellaris/common/defines
Open the "00_defines.lau" with Notepad ++
Under "NSpecies" change the "Max Traits" to 99.

Also, make sure to disable this mod. We don't want a nonfunctional mod crashing your game.

Can you please fucking update this mod? It is broken and it doesn't work!!!
I think that was part of the 1.0.2 Exploit fix that checks that your Traits <= 4 and Trait points >= 0
Alternate Fix: Create a ton of Custom Empires with the Traits you want them to have, and enable them all to be used by AI.
It's a ton of work, but I was already doing it to pick all of the cool looking alien portraits for my opponents.
