@mordred - sorry for the super delayed response, we are intending to post it to the workshop, we just don't yet have a public release, although we are quickly approaching the point where that is going to change.

To anyone else that stumbles upon here, the mod posted by Abaddoneone isn't actually dead, we rebranded and changed our name to Beyond the Relays - our current moddb is here: https://www.moddb.com/mods/beyond-the-relays . We haven't updated it in awhile, but I posted an invite to our discord which is very much active with almost 600 members currently. I regularly try and throw some updates on there for people to follow along with.

Well that is a real shame. Does anyone on this thread do Stellaris Modding? It's something I want to get into but I know nothing about programming and where to start. I have ideas for how a similar experience can be established using the 2.0 version of the game.

@Anthony I agree with you. I have been thinking about this type of a thing and I have realized that the new hyperlane only system since 2.0 makes this very possible. If a person can create isolated hyperlane clusters and a gateway that is retextured into the Mass Relays. Of course the gateway technology must be reworked but I think it could be done by just increasing the earliness of gateway technology being discovered. Please tell me that the endgame crisis will be rEApers. Then when it happens, diplomacy will be very hard. Then at the end of the crisis you have to choose red, blue, or green. Then make a another mod to fix the dissapointing ending. Then make another mod for the backstory of the rEApers. Good luck, I should go.

@Try, in your ship construction window you will see a component box on the right side that is blank, that is the issue. Just switch it manually to "None".

The mod isn't dead the dev is just waiting for stellaris to become more easily used by modders, like a lot of other mod authors are.
