How can I use it with MO? Which version should I use with requiem (no vampire mods)?
ZetaPaladin 31 Oct, 2015 @ 8:47am
The reason I got this is because Dawnguard is over priced and I don't want to feed off of people
But now it works. Thanks for the useful mod!
Lajos  [author] 30 Oct, 2015 @ 10:04pm
Didn't know anybody still used these bottles of blood mods to be honest -- I find them completely unnecessary if you have Dawnguard. Although I don't see why it wouldn't do something if this was the only vampire mod you had. I don't think that this would work properly with Dawnguard though. There are potential conflicts if the shops are modified in your other mods as well.

Have you tried verifying your game cache?
ZetaPaladin 30 Oct, 2015 @ 6:58pm
Doesn't add anything and it's the only vampire mod I own
Lajos  [author] 29 Dec, 2012 @ 11:54pm
I have just released a Dawnguard version of this mod, but it does not yet sport a Bloody White Phial, enjoy.
Fletcherizer 3 Oct, 2012 @ 3:37pm
Its just unfortunate because the plot actually requires that you feed with Vampires Seduction on a few ocasions. Which means this mod actually makes it impossible to move along in the story.
Lajos  [author] 3 Oct, 2012 @ 3:17pm
I have heard compatibility issues with Dawnguard before, but I do not own Dawnguard so cannot diagnose the problem.
Fletcherizer 3 Oct, 2012 @ 3:16pm
There is a significatn compatability issue with this mod and Dawnguard. The mod rendered me unable to feed on subjects under the effect of Vampires Seduction. This was discovered after systematically turning off each of my mods, with only one off at any given time. If your mod is on, feeding with Vampires Seduction does not work. If your mod is off, I can feed in that manner. This is a shame, I really like your mod.
Shimmer 16 Sep, 2012 @ 12:42am
yea i tried out this mod i dont think its compatible with my current vampire buff. so atm he is only selling empty wine and human flesh. i am using awesome vampire mod.
Lajos  [author] 16 Sep, 2012 @ 12:40am
I've answered that question more times than I care to count. Regrettably I haven't played Skyrim in so long that I honestly don't remember the commands to use in the console. So do what I do when I want to know them, go look up the Skyrim console commands.
Shimmer 15 Sep, 2012 @ 10:52pm
now how do you spawn bottles of blood whats the command for doing that?
Lajos  [author] 15 Aug, 2012 @ 4:15pm
Thinking about it for a moment, you did acquire the White Phial by doing the quest, and not through the console, correct? The phial's refill script is tied to the quest, so you're better off just spawning regular bottles of blood instead.
Lajos  [author] 15 Aug, 2012 @ 4:14pm
Only one phial will fill so if there are extras, which I find very unusual, you might as well throw them away. Just make sure you hold onto at least one. I've never experienced that problem either, are you using Dawnguard or some other mod that changes the White Phial quest?

The only similar condition I've seen is having my personal White Phial duplicated when I used the mod on a save game that already had done the White Phial quest.
EgoTheLivingPlanet 15 Aug, 2012 @ 4:06pm
I don't know if this is in the comments already, but, what do I do about the empty white phials building up in my inventory in the misc. section?
Nobel Peace Price Receiver 1 Aug, 2012 @ 11:11am
Bottles don't show up anywhere, noone sells them. Bad mod.
Punished Jeremy 31 Jul, 2012 @ 11:16am

Dawnguard is currently only out for the Xbox 360 I think. I bet it'll go on sale on Steam whenever it comes out for the PC.

Bentatorship 22 Jul, 2012 @ 11:18am
Works great and makes being a vampire a little more manageable. Definitely a keeper!
Grampus 17 Jul, 2012 @ 6:48pm
@Lajos thanks for the tip, and an answer, no matter how late, is always better than nothing at all :3
Lajos  [author] 17 Jul, 2012 @ 6:23pm
@Victuals, by the time I noticed you posted this comment, I felt strange replying to it, but you've run into a random bug. I don't know why it is, but sometimes the shops don't seem to work perfectly for everybody. The shops are setup correctly. Try one of the other vendors and see if there are any changes.

@Tyreeconquest if you wish to download a mod from Steam you must push the subscribe button. The mod will automatically download from the Skyrim launcher the next time you load Skyrim.
tyreeconquest 17 Jul, 2012 @ 1:15pm
wheres the files?
tyreeconquest 17 Jul, 2012 @ 1:12pm
how do you download these mods i dont see the option
Grampus 11 Jul, 2012 @ 2:02am
so, something weird is going on with it when i use it O-e
the crafting recipe for tainted blood is available in the cooking pot menu, but Falion didn't have an option to sell any of the items. The shady priest of kynareth sold empty winde bottles but nothing else. Any idea what's going on?
Lajos  [author] 1 Jul, 2012 @ 9:48pm
It will not work with Belua Sanguinare. I have only briefly looked over the mod, but their scripts are entirely separate from stock vampirism. I have been asked before to make a compatible version but based on discussions I've had with other users it just isn't feasible (too many complications without any support from the guys who wrote Belua Sanguinare). You should ask the mod authors of Belua Sanguinare for a blood bottling solution. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
TheFlyingDixieCups 1 Jul, 2012 @ 5:05pm
I'm aware you said that this mod is compatible with most vampirism mods, but I want to ask specifically - is it compatible with Belua Sanguinaire in any way? I'd like to use both, but I don't have the resources or computer space to back up my saves and try it myself. XD
Punished Jeremy 29 Jun, 2012 @ 7:56pm
also im having problems with everyone except babette
Punished Jeremy 29 Jun, 2012 @ 7:54pm
Faron Faillon there two very simple names your telling me you say faron and didnt think i was talking about faillon
Lajos  [author] 29 Jun, 2012 @ 7:40pm
I didn't, I simply supplied the names; you can't expect me to play guess who with you either. I don't know why you are experiencing problems with Fallion, unless you have a mod conflict. As far as the other shopkeepers, if their inventories aren't what you would normally expect them to be, wait a few days and see if that changes, shopkeepers have to restock too. If that doesn't work there might be some other problem at work.

Have you tried verifying the games cache or redownloading the mod?
Punished Jeremy 29 Jun, 2012 @ 7:18pm
im talking about Faillon you cant expect me to remember every name
also i found two vampire turning drinks and extra blood but i cant fine anything else on the other people
Lajos  [author] 28 Jun, 2012 @ 10:22am
With an empty wine bottle (pictured above), prepare to feed as normal. If the wine bottle is one of the two empty alto bottles(fat bottles) a new dialog option will appear, bottle blood. Use this option to bottle blood.
Hertz 28 Jun, 2012 @ 6:09am
Im confused, How do you refill a emty bottle? I tried allmost evry thing
Lajos  [author] 27 Jun, 2012 @ 5:15pm
Feron? Whose that? The vendor list is Faillon of Morthal, Enthir in the College of Winterhold, Babette of the Dark Brotherhood, Vekel (the bartender) in the Ragged Flagon, and the Shady Priest of Kynareth in the temple of Whiterun. Just enabling the mod should add the bottles to their shop. If if it does not work there might be a conflict of some sort. Please consider verifying the game's cache, and/or redownloading the mod, or putting my mod at the lowest point in your load order.
Punished Jeremy 27 Jun, 2012 @ 4:48pm
i go to feron and that guy in the thieves guild and no luck im going to keep trying but do i need to do somthing
retro 23 Jun, 2012 @ 8:08pm
im the 1000 unique visitor sweet
johno92 21 Jun, 2012 @ 9:57pm
found it ty
johno92 21 Jun, 2012 @ 9:44pm
ok i will retry it then
Lajos  [author] 21 Jun, 2012 @ 9:26pm
Drinking a bottle of blood from this mod activates the default VampireFeed function, so it should be exactly like feeding from an npc/other being, except perhaps the animation sequence.
johno92 21 Jun, 2012 @ 8:42pm
has anyone made a mod that is like this one but when u drink the blood it is like feeding from a npc/another being
Lajos  [author] 20 Jun, 2012 @ 7:38pm
You can reference another, but variables are defined within the variables in the CK. The scripts themselves can only reference them. If the variables do not exist, you cannot reference them. It's a chicken and the egg situation. You have to define the object before the object exists. Most vampirism mods, just modify the PlayerVampireQuest variable, which makes them far easier to modify from here because it already exists.

And no problem, people swinging questions at me doesn't bother me much at all. I'm not a script master, but I know my scripts well enough to talk about them. Let me tell you, finding out about that chicken and the egg situation really pissed me off. I couldn't figure out why my floating script wouldn't work. Spent a few days figuring it out.
h0ax 20 Jun, 2012 @ 6:45pm
The thing I was postulating for using the variables wouldn't be meant to trigger actual progression, and wouldn't work below a certain hunger threshhold; their vampire progression actually doesn't trigger unless you've bitten enough victims (or not bitten them within a certain period), and is independent of the act of feeding, which resets the timer since last fed, increments their necks bitten count, and dynamically modifies their satiety based on a handful of factors. I was just suggesting modifying only the satiety value and hunger level alone (and the latter only if the threshhold is surpassed). I won't hassle you further, though. Thanks for taking the time to debate with me on all this! I'll see if I can't swing the idea by the BSR modder for an in-house variant.
h0ax 20 Jun, 2012 @ 6:45pm
Aha. Well, I've certainly learned something from that. Seems weird to me--if everything's running under Skyrim, I assumed that meant that one mod's script could reference another's without having to modify the other's code (with the simple result of an exception being thrown if the script being referenced doesn't exist). But, again, I'm learning through concepting, and was unaware that you couldn't call a script without having that script modified to accept that call.

Lajos  [author] 20 Jun, 2012 @ 5:54pm
About setting the so-called variables to so speak, I could probably do that, but it won't function properly. The abilities and penalties you receive based on the variable references are determined by the update schedule. If I don't trigger your VampireProgression the variables are meaningless. Not to mention that it definitely won't abate things like being Hated and such.
