i dont know why but this mod collide with something and made my game crash when entering ship selection manu.
suprisingly enough it will work fine if you avoid that manu

If I use them as a custom race the portrait gets a "beard" slapped on as soon as I save them. Any way to prevent this?

I suggest for the Salarians, that they have the trait that lowers the years of the leaders, because they live for like 25yrs or something, they have a very short lifespan, even by human standards....the same with the Krogan, they live for atleast a 1000 years.

@Space Well, For the krogan, it was a request from the turians, the salarians just developped the means, but they weren't the one to realease it.
And for the Rachni, the uplifted the krogan to fight them, so you know, the Salarians could still drink thea and play mad scientist.
So for me, they are pacifist since they are rarely directly involved in the fights.
Interesting thoug this mod, i'll use it to recreate Mass effect, and i'll play as turian, if i can find this mod.

Hopefully once espionage gets into the game the salarians will be able to be represented more like they are in the ME universe. I agree with your characterization of the turians in the comments below as well.

Salarian pacifist? tell that to the Krogans and Rachni! Volus, Hanar, Elcor even Asari can be pacifist but Salarians don't think so. Good job with your mod anyways ^^, it's nice play with them!

Are you planning on doing all races?

Because the other guy that made Turians made them fanatic militarist.
I personally feel that's a bit too much. That that ethos is more of a 'we will kill everyone if needed' rather than a military focused race.
(Personally I would make them militarist, collectivist, and spiritalist. Miliatrist is obvious why, collectivist seems right because Turians seem to place the country first over individuals, and spiritual... their dialoge seems to suggest some level of religiousness, not much, but still relevant on their culture).

Maybe a dumb question, but would you do humans too? Neitehr of the two presets feel right for the ME's humans.

@Lara's Freezer. Well, I will probably do that as soon as I get the mod into a playable state. As of right now it would be too much of a hassle to get players to download several other mods just to get the primitive nations to work. Implementing your mods directly into mine would've saved the users some time.
I understand your decision though and will mark it as required later on.

Can't you get a femenine char shot? Tradionaly salarians leaders are the queens (Dalatrass) cause they lay all the eggs, males are just the workforce.

@giglian - no idea why the names aren't working for you. They work locally, and for most others. =/
@redflag - why not mark them as required items? that way your mod can still reference them
@space - DERP! Sorry, I reverted to backups awhile ago and they were from the time when I still had them listed as molluscoid. I've fixed it this morning.

@Creator, would you give me the honor and let me use both your Asari and Salarian mod for my "The Prothean Cycle" mod? I'm well on my way when it comes to creating the galaxy and filling it with nations, but I have no ability whatsoever when it comes to the visuals.

Small nitpick: there seems to be a faint white border around the model. Any ideas what that could be?
