Options for the different phenotypes would be nice. I prefer the Halo 2 Sangheili design but the Halo 4 Unggoy design for example

2.6Ver. - there is a problem with race traits & trate points. Traits just dissapear and points work uncorrectly

Is there a way to make random generated ai empires not use the halo portraits?

I'm getting an alert saying it is not up to date with 1.3.1 and the game crashes with it enabled.

Which really sucks, since this goes great with the SotP mod.

I'm not sure why it's not loading. Have you tried unsubscribing, resubscribing? Is it enabled in the mods tab in the launcher? As of last update, the portraits are in separate groups at the bottom, you will find them there.

Yeah I'd like that! However I'm not really a graphics guy and my current library of images doesn't have those. I'm limited by the images available online sadly. Thanks for testing though, hope you enjoy the portraits there are so far!

Something you might want to do eventually for the Forerunner species is use multiple phenotypes(since we have many, such as the Didact, Librarian, Master Builder, Pre-Composer Prometheans, etc.)

I feel like this is one of the best Halo mods here but I'm really picky with how the pictures are cut. Are you interested in seeking help preparing the pictures? I have no idea how to mod but I'm really well versed in photoshop and if anything I could help find pictures and you add them with no credit needed.

yeah, its hard to find good non-battle pose ones. Altho the Halo Wiki pages for each character tends to have a ton of transparent pictures lying around.

Problem with Grunts, Jackals (subspecies like Skirmishers and Storm Jackals too) and the other covenant species is the lack of special characters. Altho it should be easy enough to find some good looking elites, prophets or brutes from the anniversary/halo wars versions, like Jul 'Mdama, Regret and Tartarus.

I'll have to learn some Maya, so it could be a while, but it's on my list!

Quick question here; Will any of these ever be animated? Sorry if its been asked before. ._.

Also, when it comes to the images themselves I've found that the concept art of them tends to contain a lot of images where they dont look like they are about to hurl themselves on the camera, such as the different armor designs they concidered for Ripa 'Moramee (the Halo Wars Arbiter).

Seeing as the Arbiters were the original rulers of the Sangheili (Elites) I just tought some of these could fit well for the ruler portraits.

Kig-Yar are actually an avian species, and if I remember correctly, Grunts are arthropods.

I've added some planned races. Might make another 'Characters' portraits mod for all the famous faces. Animated portraits is something I'll have to look in later, I'm not really good at graphics at all.

The Kig-Yar were avian at first, but the image I used were the Ibie'shan, who are more reptilian than avian. I'll change it in the next update. The Unggoy are harder to classify, although they are explicitly named 'not arthopods' on the halopedia.
