Well, they do no damage even if they swarm. They are good for blocking missles though.

The drones are kind of pointless because they do like no damage, but it is AMAZING AND COOL AND EVERY OTHER WORD when you get a ton of ships that spawn them and there is like a ball of drones launching at the enemy, it is a thing of beauty.... and death.

Do they have built in factories in command pod? That makes them an effective self reproducing horde. (Assuming there are ship designs with exposed command pods.)
