It's not bad, but I think there's too much going on for what little puzzle there is.
Push button, get sphere and put on button, make speed gel runway, fling and and portal in the exit area and then repeat to push p-button, grab cube and portal down there to pop out by exit and fling again to put cube on button... done. The toxic water in the middle of the floor is just a nuisance and adds nothing. 2 faith plates that aren't needed, etc.

Fun man, the water pit killed me a bunch of times when I was running around and not looking.
I liked the timer + speed gel and flying through the turrets lasers. Some parts were hard to see.

Your screenshot helped me a lot, though.

This kind of exploit is one that I don't mind too much because it is required a certain skill from the player to do it. It is very specific in the level (there're not many surfaces where you can apply that) and the player has to be really fast and precise with his shooting skills.
So, I think it is safe! ;D
Anyway, would you mind to remove that screenshot from your gallery?

Place the blue portal where it is in pic 1, and orange portal in line with the propulsion gel. Run through orange portal. While in the air, place orange portal where located in pic 1. The next time exiting the blue portal, place the orange portal where it is in the second pic. After falling through blue, you're at the pedistal button. This method bypasses the other two pedistal buttons and the fly-by of the turrets.... hope this helps! ^_^

The solution described in step #2 is one of the intended solutions for that puzzle, which is fine :)
However, I didn't understand the step #1.

Yeah, I took in consideration the feedbacks from other players that reported that the (previous) turrets were causing too much hassles, and tweaked their aiming angle.

How did you place the last cube? Did you throw it in the air? Did you simply walk towards the wall with the cube button above while holding the cube and aiming upwards, releasing it when activated?
If it was this, I have a simple fix: adding a glass right there.

The turrets weren't even an issue, I ignored them and they didn't kill me. Placing the last cube was possible just by reaching up; I didn't need to get up there myself. And the immitation Cave Johnson was sick.

Good puzzle. Both the timing and sniping the portal on the angle panel fling were far too tight for me, and vaulting up out of the floor to reach the final too buts was a bit frustrating. Nonetheless I enjoyed it. Thanks for mapping.

Yeah, that was noted. I think I'll have to make the ball-shaped button one of the requirements to open the exit.

That's why feedbacks are so important. I couldn't predict this kind of solution.
I think it's fine, and at this moment I decided to leave it as it is, because it seems to be a creative solution. Players should be rewarded for thinking this way. I think this is acceptable!

Not sure if it's a deliberate shortcut, but it's possible to activate speed gel, fling yourself to the exit, place a portal at the area with the exit door, then collect the ball and just use that to open the exit. I used that method and never came across the "turret death trap room".

Great Map! I Also had problems with the pool in the middle of the room, it is not as visible as it should, but i do not think that it needs to be removed, only have it's visibility increased. Also when i'm in "Floor 2" some of the turrets can see me if i'm in certain spot (hugging the wall) I dunno if this was meant, but it killed me once. But overral it's a great map! :)

Be careful where you step on, there are some traps in the chamber! Just kidding, but the acid pool had to be build in the room to have a special place to throw the bodies of naughty testing subjects. I'll check if we already took care of all of 'em, and try to cover the pool.
P.S. you found it! There really is a "safe spot" in the death trap room! Just don't tell those turrets.

Thanks for replaying the level. It's great to know that you retried, and most importantly, you succeeded! Good job!

I understand what you felt early in the puzzle and I'll see what I can do to remove any initial frustrations. Sometimes, confusions are part of the puzzle. Sometimes players get confused before fully comprehend what they have to do to overcome the chamber, and that feeling may be part of the challenge. Still, I'll try to improve this. Thank you.

Indeed. With the constraint to not use Hammer, I tried to create some interesting aesthetics with the tools available inside the PeTI. I thought that the turrets combination could fit well in that purpose. I didn't imagine that the blocked off chambers could cause confusion, and I'll make a personal note to be more aware with it.

See? There really is enough time to do that trick! hehehe. Also, I'd like to tell you that I didn't modify the time allotted. You literally discovered the right solution. Awesome.

The acid pol in the middle of the room? This has to go. Seriulsy I can not count how many times I accidently fell to it while wondering around trying get a grip on room topology, but I guest it was somewhere around: TO MANY F@#%$ING TIMES.

P.S.
After falling to "death trap room" there are some "save spots" in which turrets don't see You. That was on purpose?

One of the things that threw me off quite a bit was the blocked off chambers where you had turrets and a defective turrets. I could not figure out if I was supposed to be able to get in there somehow and retrieve the defective turret/cube and use it as the cube or what they were for. I'm sure you put them in for an asthetic reason, but I found it simply caused me confusion. I would like to say that after I stopped trying to grab the ball, shoot the portal, and speed through it to the faith plate, I found that I had just enough to tim shoot the portal and hit the faith plate. So perhaps my initial analysis of that particular part of the test was wrong, unless of course you have already modified the time alotted.

alright, went back, played it again, succeeded. I did not rely on the original method of trying to grab the ball and bring it with me on the faith plate. I think the reason I originally did this is when I first tried this test, I thought it was very unclear as to what the objective was. Without knowing even the first thing I should really do to try and get moving on the test, I became frustrated and started thinking less with portals and more with brute force. I'm still a little up in the air on this test, its not that its bad, but because of my intial confusion and frustration I feel that perhaps some things could be changed to help improve it.
