Report a translation problem
Push button, get sphere and put on button, make speed gel runway, fling and and portal in the exit area and then repeat to push p-button, grab cube and portal down there to pop out by exit and fling again to put cube on button... done. The toxic water in the middle of the floor is just a nuisance and adds nothing. 2 faith plates that aren't needed, etc.

Your screenshot helped me a lot, though.
This kind of exploit is one that I don't mind too much because it is required a certain skill from the player to do it. It is very specific in the level (there're not many surfaces where you can apply that) and the player has to be really fast and precise with his shooting skills.
So, I think it is safe! ;D

- [fixed] Tweaked part of the ceiling to (try to!) prevent an exploit.
The solution described in step #2 is one of the intended solutions for that puzzle, which is fine :)
However, I didn't understand the step #1.

- [fixed] Added a glass wall to prevent a certain exploit.
Yeah, I took in consideration the feedbacks from other players that reported that the (previous) turrets were causing too much hassles, and tweaked their aiming angle.
How did you place the last cube? Did you throw it in the air? Did you simply walk towards the wall with the cube button above while holding the cube and aiming upwards, releasing it when activated?
If it was this, I have a simple fix: adding a glass right there.

Yeah, that was noted. I think I'll have to make the ball-shaped button one of the requirements to open the exit.

That's why feedbacks are so important. I couldn't predict this kind of solution.
I think it's fine, and at this moment I decided to leave it as it is, because it seems to be a creative solution. Players should be rewarded for thinking this way. I think this is acceptable!

Be careful where you step on, there are some traps in the chamber! Just kidding, but the acid pool had to be build in the room to have a special place to throw the bodies of naughty testing subjects. I'll check if we already took care of all of 'em, and try to cover the pool.
P.S. you found it! There really is a "safe spot" in the death trap room! Just don't tell those turrets.

Thanks for replaying the level. It's great to know that you retried, and most importantly, you succeeded! Good job!
I understand what you felt early in the puzzle and I'll see what I can do to remove any initial frustrations. Sometimes, confusions are part of the puzzle. Sometimes players get confused before fully comprehend what they have to do to overcome the chamber, and that feeling may be part of the challenge. Still, I'll try to improve this. Thank you.
Indeed. With the constraint to not use Hammer, I tried to create some interesting aesthetics with the tools available inside the PeTI. I thought that the turrets combination could fit well in that purpose. I didn't imagine that the blocked off chambers could cause confusion, and I'll make a personal note to be more aware with it.
See? There really is enough time to do that trick! hehehe. Also, I'd like to tell you that I didn't modify the time allotted. You literally discovered the right solution. Awesome.
P.S.
After falling to "death trap room" there are some "save spots" in which turrets don't see You. That was on purpose?
