Do you think there's a way to have all actions play at the same time? (selecting the actions of your soldiers, then having it all play out simultaneously)

I love It but there is one issue.
The effects end with the Turns counter.

If i use a drone to protect a teammate and the turns counter appear after that the drone will immediately come back.

Same thing with status effects (Frozen, burning, confused)

Is It possible to give turns to the effects too?

Finally, someone tries to bring 4-D into a tactical game. Final fantasy tactics and tactics ogre were doing charge time mechanics decades ago!

I would love to see this mod work!

As far as I can, skipping a turn to delay and synchronize is very ineffectual. I'll pass an entire turn, and still a character will not go again for a LONG time.

Hi, thank you for this fantastic mod. It is a really new experience.

I am wondering if you are still supporting this mod on vanilla (LW2) or you are working on WotC version? I am still playing LW2 and I want to know if I can expect more updates (to address the current known issues) of this mod.

I honestly do not think I can play this game with out this mod anymore. it changes the turn mechanic so drastically that I can not go back. this is too much fun.

By far my favorite gameplay mod for this game.

Having played with this for a while now, the main issue that I think needs fixing is that there are abilities that use the end of the turn as their trigger.
Always Vigilant should trigger at the end of the user's own turn.
Rift powers and Blazing Pinions should trigger on the user's next turn.

Cheers mate, this was always one of my more experimental mods but I've always digged how it changed up the alpha strike dynamics where each side delivers haymakers to each other, so it's always nice to hear that people enjoy it.

I wouldn't expect it immediately, but I do really want to give it a try, especially because with the new interrupt abilities it might actually work way better than vanilla did.

So, any news on this for WotC? I tried to play with the "vanilla" turns and it feels really awful, I'm missing this mod the most.

Yeah, as I said, I just want to look at how WOTC does things, because it'd be nice to NOT have to recode every ability in the game to make things work well, and if there's any luck I might be able to make this a really robust option that can play nice with any mod, rather than the wrecking ball style it currently works in. I still personally love this style of turn based as an experiment and I think it'll be nice to properly update this once the X2 code base calms down.

I do know that things like ever vigilant and other skills that activate when a character ends their turn do not do so immediately. instead they seem to take a while to pop up. on the other hand, things like the sectoids rift resolves almost instantly.

Otherwise I have had little to no issues with the actual workings of this mod. I enjoy it greatly and wish this some how had been an actual option in the game.

I think I'd wait until WOTC. They're doing a bunch of changes which likely impact turn resolution (such as controlled interrupts and that kind of thing), might actually make it possible to do this properly which would be kind of nice, as I dig the idea but there are gaps when it comes to turn based tickers in the current mod.

I love the idea of this mod, but I think it's clashingg with something else and creating a lot of lag.

There are some old errors though, if the last unit of the turn uses supression, it ends immediatly after because of the next turn.
