So i finished the game. While I must say, you did great work the sprites, I think changing the hue and colors on the stages wasn't a good idea. Beginning levels like green hill and marble were really heavy on the saturation.
Even though it's intentional because of her songs, doesn't make it a good idea to mess with colors that can irritate the player, especially going in a fast pace.
Great hack, well done sprites, but the levels need some better pallate swaps.

@Tracker_TD Hey, I respect that, I make sprites myself sometimes, they're a pain in the ass.

@BenNighty There are changes to the rest of the sprite; originally the face used a different graphic, but sprite pieces are a pain to edit. Might try again in the next version.

Pasting Miku's face onto Sonic's sprite does not a character hack make. Also, you're a jerk. And you smell bad.

The sprites look really nice, however in the running animation it looks like you've pasted Miku's face onto sonic's sprite. I dunno. To me it does.

Got to Marble (now Senbonzakura) zone, so far so good (I'm ass in this classic sonic and I was half-assing it anyways). Just one tiny thing - could you make it so the sega jingle is the one from Project Diva games?

@Sakura That's not forced; the palette was intentionally changed to reflect the level names. Senbonzakura is a song about cherry blossoms for instance; hence the pink palette.

aha.. I think the funniest part for me is seeing all the colors of the background being forcibly swapped because theyre trying to match Miku and the others. like look at that blue earth in green hills, and the Pink Marble Zone. but I will say i absolutely love the Blue Starlight Zone.
