I liked this alot! But I was dumbfunded what to do once I walked inside until I looked at your first screenshot for a clue! This puzzle taught me a new trick. Well done.

woah, this was very cool! :) at first it gave me a headache before I finally managed to get to the higher places (i made myself not to look at the walkthrough, but i did read some of the comments). This way of gaining height is pretty awesome indeed. I liked the other parts of the puzzle as well. Good job!

good "old school" P2 puzzle. Smoothly to play. If you want, try my map "blue room v.1.0" ...there another technique of jumping is required...thx

Really cool puzzle you have there ^^ Anyway I skipped some parts of the second room : I never reached the little glass platform, I used the vertical funnel to reach the top of the map and place a portal on the white surface up there, after getting the cube of course ;)

That was a nice map. I liked how those portal jumps that make you go higher were forgiving. You don't need pin point accuracy to pull them off. I am about to sample your other creations. :)

Very nice. I didn't even think of the proper way to get up to the button (which is weird because I used the same thing in one of my maps). I just reportaled to get up there. Fun map.

I really liked this map.
I have to admit I was not used to the momentum gain at the start , that was great. Not sure why that isn't used more! (read: I'm totally using that myself now).
Beyond that it was a good balance of fun puzzles that weren't too hard and kept a nice flow through.

Thanks fallyguy0 - I have been to your map and given it a go (See comments there).

Valve seem to have updated the compiler so if you press F6 at any point and then get killed it auto returns you to the save point. You only need to use F7 intentionally.

If you liked Flying about give my rather larger map "Labyrintine Treasure Hunt" a look - quite a lot of rooms (As many as the compiler would compile) with a variety of puzzles to solve and an extra task at the end! See: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=72523373

This one was really tricky! Lots of stuff that you couldn't fix if you messed up. One time I pressed "F6" when I meant to press "F7" and I had to do a lot of clever finagling to undo my mistake! This is a great test chamber, albiet a very stressful one! The point is, I felt like I'd accomplished something when I was done. Good job!

Done it! But it was hard! I'm not sure I used the right trick to go to the first button. What I did was far fetched. My favorite puzzle was with the light cube and the tunnels. I like those things. Well, I'm glad I finished it anyway ;-)

You can always use F6 to save your current state and F7 to return to it if you need to (standard function keys for Portal).

Unfortunately the community map editor doesn't have any mechanism for adding save points.

Don't really see why Valve couldn't add an automatic save (it could be like an invisible emancipation grad that saves when you walk through it. The map would need to keep note if you had saved or not svaed since you entered the first chamber but I wouldn't have thought that was too hard to implement in the compiler. ANyone know where you can post suggestions to the developers?

I really liked the map!
The only thing that annoyed me was that I died a couple of times on the second chamber and had to do it all over from the beginning. I guess there is no way around it, though, no way to save in the custom maps :(

Map completely revamped (see version history). Nae vhamber added. Note the YouTube walthrough only covers the first chamber and whilst the chamber has changed a bit it should still be adequate to give you the idea. I see I have a few people subscribed - how about trying the new version and leaving me some feedback please. Cheers Carol

I have just added a second puzzle to my profile. Much longer and whilst the tasks aren't too hard you do have to keep track of where you left things around the place and where they are likely to be needed because you need to go and get them at the end to finish!
