@Slippery Squirrel: I'll take a look. It's been a while since I last played Stellaris.

Fleet names for this are messed up after the last update.

I'm not sure if the latest version of 3.3 changes mod coding for added name lists but it wouldn't hurt to take a peek, the Devs have made some changes to modding so it's make modding easy... or so they claim

Could you also add a namefile with more modern Greek names/surnames?
MRFlackAttack 16 Jun, 2020 @ 2:24am
How are the Fleets and Armies named in this mod? In Total War: Rome II, I name the Stolos and Stratos respectively, and then name them after a God, Goddess, Spirit, Creature, Personification. I may also name more important forces after a letter and a mythological figure, for example: Stolos Alpha Athena, Stratos Beta Bia, Stolos Gamma Glaukos, Stratos Delta Dionysos, Stratos Epsilon Enyo, etc.

hello, does this mod still works with the 2.6.3 version ?

A thousand thanks upon you! :3

@Twink315: Sure friend, go right ahead

Hey there. I really like the namelist and you seem quite knowledgable on the matter. I am currently making a mod featuring my interpretation of Atlanteans species/ships/citiy etc and i wondered if i would be allowed to integrate your namelist or parts of it into the mod. Ofc with a link to the original and credits.
Ornlu Wolfjarl  [author] 2 Feb, 2019 @ 3:06pm
@That Canadian Polak: Yes it should. It's only a warning because I can't be bothered changing the "about" file every update to make it match the latest one.
Grzegorz Brzęczyszczykiewicz 2 Feb, 2019 @ 1:43pm
Would I be correct in assuming this would still work with the latest updates?
Drilla 9 Sep, 2018 @ 3:37am
my favorite mod in here, thanks!
Ornlu Wolfjarl  [author] 23 Sep, 2017 @ 4:54am
It should be.
talensted 23 Sep, 2017 @ 3:27am
Does this work with v1.8?
Wallenkirsch 19 May, 2017 @ 10:47am
Danke, its perfect, now i can grace the gods like the anchients only dreamed of :D

@Kaiser Wilhelm I: Issue should be fixed now. Let me know if you encounter any more problems.
Ornlu Wolfjarl  [author] 19 May, 2017 @ 8:36am
@Kaiser Willhelm I. Firstly let me say sir that I am honored that a Hohenzoller has graced my mod.

Secondly, I didn't realize this issue because I didn't use the mod with imperial governments. I'll see if I can figure it out. Thanks for reporting it!
Wallenkirsch 18 May, 2017 @ 11:42pm
hey, something is slightly wrong about your mod. When i go intot the species creator and click randomize RULER name, the game leave the rulers name blank, also when a new heir is made he keeps the last name of the previous ruelr, but the previous rulers last name is the only name for the heir. i dont mod but i hope you know what this problem is, cause i love greek shet man, and this kills me. thank you

@Ornlu Wolfjarl
Yeah it was exactly as you said, the mod showed up in the modlist after the first start-up of the game. Thank you for making me doublecheck that window.
Ornlu Wolfjarl  [author] 6 Apr, 2017 @ 5:21am
@Seadaddy it should be named Greek_names in the game itself and in the mod launcher. If are talking about the launcher, then it's probably paradox's fault. Try launching the game, playing for a couple minutes, exiting and looking at the mod list again. If it doesn't work then do a 'verify integrity of game cache' and make sure you start the game from the "PLAY" button from the game's entry in your steam library.

@Ornlu Wolfjarl
I can't find it from the list. I probably missed it, what is the namelist called?
Brane De Mage 5 Apr, 2017 @ 12:28pm

greece isn't real
Ornlu Wolfjarl  [author] 21 Aug, 2016 @ 12:56pm
It should work properly. I just came back from holidays and haven't checked it, but as far as I'm aware 1.2.5 shouldn't interfere with it. Disregard the launcher if it tells you it's outdated, until I can update the version compatibility entry.
gothicwigga 15 Aug, 2016 @ 8:41am
Does this work now?
Ornlu Wolfjarl  [author] 2 Jun, 2016 @ 11:06pm
@ru2cruel: The mod works fine on 1.1 however, when I try to update its information the launcher says there's an error. I'm looking into fixing it. Meanwhile you can just use it normally, disregard the exclamation
ru2cruel 2 Jun, 2016 @ 4:46pm
please update to 1.1
Ornlu Wolfjarl  [author] 22 May, 2016 @ 2:19pm
@NukAddict Thanks, I think there's already a norse namelist by someone else. I'm currently also working on the namelists for the 40K mod, so as soon as I get some stuff off my platter I'll start considering Norse and Roman namelists of my own.
Solarak 22 May, 2016 @ 12:25am
Nice job mate, and i encourage you to do a viking one, i was just searching for one ^^

Thank you for sharing:KneelingBow:
Wingstorm 18 May, 2016 @ 8:41am
@spankypants there is already a roman name list in the workshop.

@Ornlu Wolfjarl, Thanks! I have been looking for this.
Ornlu Wolfjarl  [author] 18 May, 2016 @ 5:48am
@spankypants I was thinking about it, but my knowledge of Roman names is not as excessive as with Greeks. When I feel this one is finished I'll probably give it a try though :)

I was also planning on doing a Viking one
spankypants 18 May, 2016 @ 5:26am
Sounds great. I'd love to see Ancient Roman names too. You know, for those Space Rome species... :)
