Any game longer than 300 years just gets tiresome having to constantly trait, and retrait and make sure they get the proper specialization, assigning re-assigning them, etc.
Taking time to carefuly mold a leader early game to benefit from them lategame is far more enjoyable and makes it easier to engage with the mechanic.
What line in your code would I need to change to make this happen?
You are a very nice person
I did test it on another device where the mod also worked fine. This just seems to have been an issue on my main device where i also have the local version of the mod besides the workshop version. Other people seem to have the same issues with their mods since the new launcher has been released.
@FrozGu8: for a while i suddenly had the same issue with the ugc _* file disappearing. Somehow it reappeared later after unsubscribing and resubscribing several times ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.
Theoretically this version should be able to work with 2.3, too. The only real change i made was to add a new file called descriptor.mod after reading that the new launcher needs it.
thanks mate
its a pretty good mod. while infinite age is what i wanted, its not like the leaders not dying from normal means is a problem. i have had several die due to modded events, mainly environmental hazards.
thanks for making this
@ashur: hmm then they must have changed this. I am quite sure when i last played and leaders of my immortal species died they were gone for good and never returned to my leader pool. Happened to my army generals all the time since they suddenly had the urge to always fight among the frontline troops after some update^^
it's not really one mod, rather some small additions mixed together to rebuild the Sith Empire from the old republic.
The Ships are from the Sith Empire Ship Pack:

The Ships from the Old Republic Ship Pack:

And i did use Star Wars Emblems to get the Symbols:

The System shown in one of the pictures is merely the name i gave to the starting system of my custom empire and my leader icon is a cartoon version of my old character back from Star Wars The old Republic ^^
As far as i know there are other mods out there which can transform your whole galaxy to the one from Star Wars with all factions, etc. but for me this is sufficient since i like putting the Sith Empire and its' rival, the Old Republic, against the random races from the Stellaris galaxy :)
sorry for the delay. It is now up to date for 2.3. Usually you can still use the mod even if it is marked as outdated. If you want to make sure it still works just check if the trait is still there and in the leaders tab on your immortal species' leaders it should say that they are immortal instead of showing a chance to die.
I can see your point in this beeing a strong and maybe 1 point might be too cheap. However i primarily wanted to make this trait as a means to for example keep custom created rulers around so i tried to make it accessible without the need to take on negative traits. But good to see that now there is also version around for people who want to have harder requirements :)
