it seems to break syncretic evolution, i started a new game anw had 8 main speices rather than 4/4 of both.

My planets keep starting with no building built on them. I have turned off all other home system mods but it still happens.

I will need to update this mod to 1.3.1. I am still supporting it but i have to rebuild most of my mods from scratch since 1.3 brought so many changes.

Makes sense in a number of ways. Aside from the fact that sapient species on larger worlds would naturally have an advantage in surviving long to enough to reach space due to having more resources and room--meaning more time to develop before those things run out--it also reflects the simple fact that a spacefaring species homeworld would naturally be FAR more developed than its colonies due to the simple fact that it was all they had for thousands of years.

Dam I wonder what the old mod did differently? Side question, while trying to find your mod in the local files I could not find it. It shows as active on the mod list and the effects can be seen in random home systems but when I look though all the workshop folders for Stellaris I don't see any files for your mod.

This mod only works for randomly generated systems. It does not currently work for the Custom System Initializers

Um, Whenever I use SOL system as starting system I keep getting a 16 tile world. I use the sol expanded mod so that might be conflicting, the old 25 tile home world mod (the one that got removed recently) seemed to work with SOL expanded mod, I had the extra objects in the system and a 25 tile Earth. Any idea why the one worked but not the other?

Yes it should be, unless that mod alters the empire_initializers.txt file, which it should not. So i would say yes!

The vanilla 16 tiles worlds, all have normally quite the same types of starting tiles. Could you please include in your discription a count of tile types on the starting planet, assuming it is always or mostly always the same? Like how many research tiles, how many energy, mineral, food tiles. Also is there a variance included, that at different starts we get diefferent amounts of these tile types?

As an FYI to anyone wondering, this mod does not work if you use a race with a specific homeworld start. For example, I created an empire and selected Sol as my starting system type, but I only ended up with a 16 tile planet. Changing this value to Random allowed me to get the 25 tile homeworld.

In the end, the sector layout doesn't bother me much, but I thought you might want to know. Great mod thnx!:steamhappy:

I don't do beta patches, sorry, but as long as the beta patch doesn't change the actual filenames, it should still work with it. The game just warns you that a mod is outdated, but still loads it.
