Up and Down

I found it kind of hard to tell what I was doing, probably because of opaque surfaces constantly moving up and down. Also a bigger visual indication of the moving parts could also boost player understanding effectiveness which way the laser will redirect.

That's exactly why Valve has a relatively bland design in the original Portal maps: to focus on the science. I suppose I'm using "visually" in a little different sense than you might be.

I found it visually boring, but at the same time couldn't think of a better look. Helps place focus on the puzzle, I suppose.

Requires some reflexes, but overall a nice map, especially visually.

cool puzzle!

Very well done, good puzzle. I love it.

I spent quite a lot of time without noticing that there is a timed column and could not help but be attentive to the cube that stands alone, making me think for what it is. Anyway, the solution requires somewhat speed control to exit. Nice one

there was not really any precision. Nice map. Worked my brrain for a couple of minutes

I believe if you choose a different solution, you'll require precision. Going with the intended one doesn't need as much.

Nice, thanks - a few cool moments there. I didn't find there was that much need for precision, maybe I was doing it differently.

The observation room and shadows didn't help?

Most of the problem I had with the map was simply not knowing which direction I was facing, even though each side differs in geometry; maybe a blatant asymmetry like a window on one side would help?

I did quite like it otherwise, though.

I'm not sure what to do about the portal precision required to solve. Sure, I could move the columns to the edges, but defeats the orientation part of the puzzle. There isn't a lot of visual variation either.

Took me far longer than I'd like to admit to complete, due in part to the symmetry of the map, and also due in part to the percise portaling of the solution.

Excellent. Fairly simple, but very frustrating.
