What's up with Ground Squares getting all wonky in the winter? They look great when there isn't snow, but when it snows they disappear and it makes things look absolutely awful.

this i going to seem like a noob question but does this disable achievements? im 99% sure it does but i really really cant wait to get this mod and play it however i wanna get most, if not all of the achievements first (sad i know but i like having a goal or 2 to aim for) thank you in advance btw

try going into game propertires in steam llibrary . right click game and go to properties and then to verify game cache files

Is there general info and map/minimap examples of the new terrains provided? This would be extremely useful when deciding on what sort of map to play.

Man... I thought this mod killed my game for a minute lol. I activated it and my game went to a black screen and stayed that way. I force closed it and restarted, and it stayed black screen. So I said screw it and let it sit there while I looked at facebook on my phone, and it eventually loaded lol :P Now I'm gonna give it a go, it's been awhile since I played banished.

I have a "bug" fix request.
Long story short, the meat stall workers are morons.
They pick up the tallow, which no one eats and I need for candles, and stock them inside thier damn stall storage, making it useless for the candle maker.

is there a way to stop people snatching away that meat before the butcher gets it?
i tried lenghtening the supply chain to the market and building more pastures but they always end up without meat and the stuff is in the houses...

something like a meat storage that only butchers can take from or like the distribution barn where i can select which buildings can take from? or an option where i can just forbid houses to take in certain goods...
that would be most amazing :D

also a universal butcher would be nice and somewhat realistic since cow doesnt butcher that different than pig ;) either one i can choose which meat should be butchered or one for all, the smokehouse can work on all as well...

I find that the game starts to slow down quite a bit after around 150 citizens. The framerate goes sub-30 and declines from there as the town gets larger. In vanilla however, I've had over 400 with no major performance impact. I think it has to do with the density of tree growth. CC forests are THICK. Is that something that can be adjusted? Settings or anything?

@MrFestis With some Googling I found a chart that someone pulled off the forums before they went down. [www.silisoftware.com] It might not be up to date but it has the production chain and values you'relooking for.

Hey, I noticed few issues.
Most of my population are just idling around and starving while all my fishing docks are full of fish and my pastures full of meat. I also had a fire break out in one of my houses and then watched my citizens run off the face of the earth to get some water.
Otherwise great mod though! :clementineelf:

I may be totally lost, but I can't seem to find a production chain chart or something similar to TFA on the wiki or anywhere. I remember there being one for previous mod versions back when I used to play Banished some time ago. Anyone knows if one exists and if so where to find it?

I have a serious issue with my workers. I don't know what's wrong, but so many seems to just idle around. I wanted to upgrade a wooden house to a stone house, but the builders assigned to upgrade it were idling, even when I had the resources required. Others workers also seem to be quite relaxing and take their time gathering resources from the woods. What's this?

Having a prioritizing issue with the colonists... they won't do the jobs they're assigned to. I'm not sure what causes it, but for example there will be a severe shortage of tools and all the necessary materials to make tools will be available, and the blacksmith will just stand around and not go to his post. I'm not sure what the issue is but I have to start over every time as people assigned as 'builders' will also cease to finish building new facilities.

Stupid question. I'm new so i'm getting rather confused what mods are newest, which are still going, and which ones are dead or older versions.

I found the CC New Frontier mod on banishedinfo.com which is version 1.55, but that website doesnt have this mod. Plus this mod is called 'The Forge Awakens'.

So is this the latest mod version for CC, but just got a different title? I ask as whilst playing CC New Frontier I get constanr crashes when clicking on the Trading Post, and after a lot of searching there seems no fix. Plus the ColonialCharter.com site is down so I cant get any answers there.

I'm having issues with crops in my current game. Only crops with tomato, rye and oats give normal amounts. Beans, peppers, and all others I've tried give between 1 and 100 per year. I use 7x8 and 4x15 fields, with barn and houses as close to the crops as possible.

just bought game got a reccomendation to download this but have insane load time with a black screen and just got a crash so unfortunitly have to uninstall your mod =/

I did a little more troubleshooting. It appears if I start a new game and load the mod in that loaded game, it will crash with that error. I was able to load the mod on the main menu without opening a saved game now though. I just discovered I could do this as well. Now I see there are many more maps and difficulties to play! Cheers!

@Daggan hello :) CC was made for 1.0.6 - we dont know why your game crashed. Running the exe while holding the Ctrl key will let you access a launcher with the option to "disable all mods" - do this. Then run your game, and exit. Then run your game normally, enable your desired mods. Then exit. Then run your game normally again. Lots of success is had with this method. Please give it a try :)

Here is the error I get from the crash:

Looking more closely, it looks like Banished has gone to 1.0.6 and CC is still made for 1.0.5. This could be what is causing the crash? Banished must have have an update.

I was using the mod fine yesterday. Today I went to load my map with the mod on it and now I get a crash. Banished crashes and leaves me a .dmp file. Any help, would like to get back into this mod some more.

Is there any where i can get some CC mods while the site is down, my game decided to delete half my mods, the ones im looking for are,
inedible milk, inedible barley, inedible butter and busy pastures.
Been trying my best to find them on google and even have the old DL links but they dont work any more.

@Pazox The developers have talked about building a new game, but said nothing about dropping support for Colonial Charter. However, it can't hurt to keep a current back-up copy of your mods (\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Banished\WinData folder) just in case something goes wrong with Steam subscriptions.

@zeddicuszulzorander19 no because each item has a different weight, so even if you had say a 20,000 storage, that doesnt mean it will hold 20,000 items :) Also, im the only one who does animals and theyre super hard, we do want more but theyre so complex so maybe or maybe not :)

Is there any possible way, to make a mod that, tells you how much availble storage space left. I find it annoying that as i put storage down i have no idea of total space left/available. I also know that the UI might not allow or has already been asked here or in other forums.
Also any chance u could add a few more animal mods. Such as Rabbit/Wood Pigeon/ Pheasant. Also Wild Boar seen as hunters get killed by them but u can't access them.
Sorry in advence if these suggestion's are either stupid or been asked for already :-)
