So glad these exist, the round van style tailights and headlights in the game didnt go so well for cars that are better off with perfectly square lights.

sweet, thanks. It's all fixed now!

(I just realised I'm probably going to have to replace all my taillight fixtures on the Tron car now ;_; )

@McHorseguy, fixed, it happens for use short names on files :P
@Pyrlix, that's good news, anyway the polygon optimization is something to keep in mind. TY

Hey Raz, can you check the material assignment on this mod? The opaque red lights without stripes is displaying as striped!
Pyrlix 2 Jun, 2016 @ 9:47am
@Raz: Thankfully polygon reduction is done relatively quickly. That could get better with the change to Unreal Engine :)

@Pyrlix, really good to know some figures, I have a few mods that need some poly optimization. Thanks for the tip.
Pyrlix 27 May, 2016 @ 3:13am
On the topic of heavy lag: I recommend reducing polygon and triangle count.
Fixtures really only need ~200-500polygons :)
Razyx  [author] 23 May, 2016 @ 1:24pm
I'll give they a look and try to improve them... if possible :)
I know that there're some heavy mods on the roster.

I think your mods have lots of potential, Raz. However, there's one common flaw and that's that most of your mods induce quite a bit of lag into my game. I think that you could possibly lower polygon count or texture size on a lot of your mods.

Other than that, though, your mods are very well made, great job :D

hmm, border, no border hehe...I'll make a borderless version (border with same tailight texture? hmm) and add another one with a uniform material, okay.
McHorseguy 23 May, 2016 @ 4:18am
ADDIT: oops hehe looks like I spoke too soon: they do have a border. And they don't overlap with themselves very easily. Nonetheless they do look very nice.

Would it be much trouble to include variants with a more uniform light material colour for easier tiling and integration with other kinds of light fixtures?
McHorseguy 23 May, 2016 @ 4:12am
A long time ago in the irc chat, I suggested that somebody make flat, borderless lights. Knowing of course that their weakness would be their wrapping. But the potential for shaping lights would be immense.

It appears you have created just that.

I am going to try them right now.
Razyx  [author] 22 May, 2016 @ 4:47pm
not really, well, if one is small and they are on a flat surface they almost work..., but you can mix them with other taillights, although you may see the shape on the background.
