Update. Files were in Documents folder, also somehow corrupted.
-Reinstalled the game and the files after deleting them and uninstalling the game.

Mod works now for me. Posting for any who may have the same problem.

When I go to the single-player screen to select the Historical battle/ time/ war period. I do not see the "Northern War"'s listed. I have the correct version of the game as well, with no other mods nor DLC enabled. Am I missing something?

You can remove all institutions and ages execpt one for each if you think they are irrelevant to mod and update mod to latest version

idk why you think that institutions don't fit witcher's universe, it's been 1400+ years since the conjunction, it is possible to add institutions just by making game's start date before the events of the books and games. Like since the arrival of humans or since the conjunction. Even if you disagree with my opinion, i've seen people increasing amount of era's and institutions in other mods, so maybe decreasing their amount is possible as well
