With the way the game's menu is currently designed it's impossible to access it without replace the existing drivetrain in the Tuning menu. Not to mention the fact this mod is outdated & will crash your game unless you're using an older build.

I've mentioned this multiple times to the developers about how the Tuning menu prevent auto generated listing & the fact the original purpose has been surpassed with full customisation in multiplayer.

Should some parts of the mod still work for the current version? Namely the conversion kits and AI sets I was hoping would still work. Thanks for the quick response, by the way.

I don't know since the last time I've worked on it, Bugbear pushed an update which archived the parts which I've use as reference. I do have backups of the game files but any changes they make could break the mod. Plus archived files have priority over Workshop content to prevent people getting DLC.

The was last redoing the mod starting with some special vehicles such as the Double Decker getting parts from Speed Demon & extra prop options for War Wagon I think. Anyway, the point of the mod is to add parts to the game & not replace. If you look at my previous comments, I go into this more.

are you ever going to update it? i havent heard about this mod until recently, and it has a number of things that i've always wanted in the game.

I still have the old build for reference but yeah this pretty killed me working on it until I can see those files again. I might just release what's done & leave it at that for now. At least you'll have a working mod for the current build but it's not feature complete.

Well, there's a problem. For whatever reason, Bugbear removed all non-DLC parts in the visible folder which means I lost most of the reference & latest changes they did. This can be a problem in the long run if something breaks & I can't balance each new parts with Bugbear changes.

That's awesome, I was somewhat losing hope. It makes sense to wait for what the new update brings, too. I hope nothing goes wrong and also I wish you all the best.

I'm currently in the process of updating it but have stopped due to a new update hinted which will fix the loading times & update wwise for engine sounds. I'll rather save minutes of my life not waiting for the game to load to check one thing. For the most part, I've had to redo everyone from the ground up. The only focus on the next update is the special vehicle & a few selected vehicles. But it's done when it's done, no ETA when it's done.

You can use it as a reference but don't directly copy from it. I'll rather have people understand how the tool work.

If you're looking for engine specs, there's plenty of websites which have exact details or you could use a game like Forza for any missing info. Most of the D class engines are like from the 50s, 60s or 70s. You might have to convert a few values to work with the tool but it should be good.

This mod has been outdated for a long time so is likely broken with the release build. You could also blame the tune menu for breaking it as well. Just never got time anymore to get around to working on it but I got plans in place for when I do.

Does this mod have D class engines? Can other modders use parts of it in their work, given proper credit is due?

well thanks for replying, i just bought this game yesterday and was looking for mods and noticed this one wasnt working and discovered it was outdated. hope it turns out great man, so far im loving the game.

Yes, it's still up as some people still use the old build of the game. I do plan to return at some point but the issue with restricted UI for things like gearbox. I can't add to those parts anymore & only replace which defeats the purpose of the mod. The older builds of the game had them stuff listed & updated automatically. I do have a solution with I need to pitch to the devs at some point.

The only reason this hasn't been hidden is the fact people still have older builds of the game which this mod still supports.

i feel that they overexaggerate (or under in some instances) the actual feel of the car for certain ones. for example, the killer bee always looks like it's on the verge of doing a wheelie and the incline provided by it takes away from the whole small stature of its body

I do have a question tho, does anyone like the fake suspensions settings?

I've been busy recently & was also working on sorting out my Legacy Vehicles. I'm sorting of going between them. Honestly, I don't have as much time to work on this as I used to in the past. I do put some research into stuff & go into each file to ensure it's to standard.

I could make it myself but I rather unlock it legit. Anyway, most of the important vehicles are unlocked for testing. So far only 1 type of AWD & FWD/RWD conversion kits can be added which replace the stiff & soft settings. Mainly the problem comes from what to keep & what to replace. Bugbear of course went backwards on development for the UI which put limits to the amount of parts that can added to 5.

you could always intall the mod that unlocks all vehicles for you.

I'm slowly working to get this mod updated. However, I need to progress into the game & unlock all the vehicles first. Likely will take about a week since I'm more busy now days than before.

A removed feature still referenced by the game but currently no way to equip it or even know if it still used.

View the patch notes for details on what it added & removed. I do have plans but I'm not too bothered until the game fully released. If Bugbear do happen to fix the Tuning feature then I might sort it out before then.

So, what all did this mod include in the way of parts and such? Because I got this mod before the last big update (I think late 2016) but I could never really figure out what all this mod added.

Also, any chance these mods could include visual mods, even for the add-on vehicles?
