Update: The standard barns now hold rock, Iron, etc instead of using stockpiles.

I just added the barn, but I notice the laborers never take any food there. It always has an inventory of 0%. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Love this... What if we had a barn that does not store roots, fruit, etc. This would keep the old barns from filling with fruit first.

I would like to see a version that can hold nuts (protein) and grains as well.

I love the look and idea, but I think it needs an unedible version to go with it.

The building looks very nice. I wish it could store more things.

@MagusSartori, yes it will conflict (like most of my mods do) and turn red in the mod list but they all still work together :) the conflict warning is just to let you know that they share some same resources, but that is completely fine. You can ignore the warning and still play.

Conflicts with your Better Stock Pile Storage mod, but they are in collections together.

Thank you! I've been struggling in one of my towns with barns not having room for harvests and this looks like it might be just what I need. I hope it will work in an existing file, but if not, I look forward to using it in future games. Thank you for this and for all your buildings; they are exactly what I wanted but didn't know it. :)

If I were trying to do something like this I'd probably make the celler stand alone taking up the same space as the Storage Barn but just looking like dirt on the ground and consisting of all road tiles; maybe a little cellar hatch in the middle; holding 3000 capacity and costing 24 wood and 8 stone and only holding fruits and veges, then make it so the Storage Barn can be placed on top of it by doing something like OwlChemist did with Road Bound. That is to say make a Storage Barn Foundation that upgrades to a Storage Barn and can be placed over road tiles. Additionally you could add an upgrade to the regular Storage Barn to turn it into a Cellar so if you build that first it's easier to replace for the upgrade. Then you could just add the Storage Barn Foundation that could upgrade to a Storage Barn that lacks that upgrade (and can't be selected from the build options) on top of the new Cellar.

It doesn't really make sense that you limited it to fruits and veges. If the top part is the same Storage Barn, one could store the same things in it, hell if one really wanted to they could store tools and such in a cellar too. I think the increased build cost is balance enough, specifically since it's 50% larger it should cost 50% more wood and stone which you already did.
