It wont help if your CPU can't keep up with all the pops, trade, etc calculations?
I reduce resolution of the .dds file just like this one, but instead, I decided to do ÷2 ÷2 instead of just a ÷2. (A 2048x2048 dds is converted into 1024x1024 then reconverted into 512x512..
Reason for that is because if I just devide it by 2, the file size will still be 1.2GB or 1200+mb and for a mod, that's too much.
Also, it's up to date for 2.2 that covers DLC ships too.

i dont mind to much if someone takes parts of someone elses mod and uses them to speed up their own mod creation (such as rewriting a trait mod instead of having to completely from scratch come up with your own for your own unique traits) but to go so far as to actually use the exact same description and pass it off as your own with only a minor difference is just messed up...
