Hello, I know this is a fix but I would like to reupload the base just by changing the components for my server, I wanted to know if you allow the publication?

@SKO85 I've been working on the mod with Zenduin on some bug fixing and I've implemented Area Control and some other features. If you're serious about maintaining it for the long run. Sure, go ahead. I'll be monitoring and will follow your development.

@Zenduin, I've fixed the mod as much as possible and I've created my own version for the moment. If you're not planning to continue the mod are you ok if I take it over?

This is the fixed one atm. Could contain still some bugs, but I've fixed as much as possible fo the time I had :) Will try to improve it if you're ok with it.

I'm not sure... I didn't have the results I wanted when I used this on my server (it really only boosted offline raiding, which I was trying to discourage), so I stopped using (and maintaining) it. I've since lost interest in Space Engineers and video games in general.

It was one of my mods that I use on my server. I'm not sure what about it yet was causing it. Load order didn't matter, I tried that. Your mod is fine though, sorry for the false alarm. I'll figure it out and let ya know if your interested, it'll be a few weeks though.

If theres another mod that implements block logic for ALL beacons instead of just my custom beacon then thats a high probability, if this mod is loaded last that shouldnt be an issue since it only implements block logic for this specific block.

I wrote this mod with DS in mind, hosted games and single player are just a side-effect. I have found and fixed some issues just now, if that doesn't help, use /conqconfig debug on and look at the ConquestServer.log file in your Storage folder.

I don't think this mod works. Only works locally or on a hosted game. DSes don't seem to work correctly. Sometimes I can make it work if I restart the DS after building the conquest beacon but it's hit or miss.

Right now, the Conquest mod seems a little broken. /conqbase says the base is in a valid location. However, /conqstatus says "base is not valid, Reasons:" with nothing after it. Obviously it would be helpful if it told us WHY a base was not valid. No one has been able to get rewards from the bases yet.

hi there im on the se olypians server and the server owner doesnt know why he isnt getting anything either hes turned everything on that needs to be on but im not getting any rewards at all not even 1 iron iv followed all the instructions to the letter please help

Buying ships and items is a bit out of the scope of this mod. Ideally you need to fight over territory (which is supposedly limited) so destroying someone else's beacon would be required. I'm not sure I can bind this to faction creation and if I did it would be something messy like deleting the faction after creating it, which people would just think is a bug (I'm not in favor of that)

Well what if you did something like a way to " buy items and ships from their blueprints " based on a price calculated from server settings ( refiner with 4 upgrades with the config settings) then make it where players get extra points from taking over or destroying other players beacon to get player looking for others bases, then I would also have it where different environments ( earth , space , moons ) to get players to move to other zones?

Longfellow: first, rewards needs to be set to On in the config. Then, you can check if base has all required elements by aiming at it and type /conqbase. If conqbase says it's valid, you'll receive rewards at time set in the config. If everything is valid and you still not receiving anything, then that's a bug and we'll need all the feedback we can get to fix it. One known bug is that it says you can have a valid base, but broadcasting is cross-mixing another base broadcast. I.E. 2 bases should be 100K apart to be able to broadcast at 50K and have 100% of the resources. if it's closer, it'll still say it's valid, but you won't get anything... so looking into it.

I'm not sure if i'm not noticeing this but how do you get the rewards? Is it a command or does it deposit into the cargo of the area?

I not quite understand this: If time bonuses are enabled it will be worth more the longer the base is active up to the configured max bonus time and modifier. Ok, but how work exactly the calculation? what is "more the longer"? could explain more detailed how work this, and the parameter time modifier?. thanks! very good mod and work!

Crieg: we'll look into it for /conqarea, but there seems to be intermittent problems. As for a way for people to see the conquest areas, I suggest you use Midspace's admin mod to add public waypoints that everyone will see when they join
