This is a mod collection for scenario designers. It doesn't change anything in the base game except for bug fixes.

So according to the description of this mod, I'm supposed to get a lot of new stuff in my game (?) After downloading this mod and putting right on top of the priority list, my game looks exactly the same as before. Are the new items available only through editor? I don't have anything new in my game.

The game tells me that when I have the World of Warcraft mods active that they are broken and they don't load in, other umc mods work and I already tried to limit it to only one and still doesn't work. Is there something I need to do to make them actually load in their models?

Not all mods are compatible with UMC, the ones that are will say so on their workshop page.

Textures should be included with each pack that's compatible with UMC. I don't know which mod you're referring to. It is up to other modders to decide to make their work compatible with UMC. They can upload UMC compatible assets and data files if they choose to.

Ok the big UMC building pack is all blacked got any detailed instructions on how to add the texture file? Also a request for new units from the smite pack that’s only compatible with age of heroes database the Greek gods in the pack are awesome would be rad if you could translate them into your mods, dig your work keep up the good work!

I don't know. That sounds like an issue with the particular scenario, triggers or victory conditions.

UMC does not replace any of the base game units - that's the whole purpose of this collection.

Seems like you've added many new units. But I only want animals from with mod. I do not want to replace my original base game units.

If you didn't subscribe to the packs that contain the art assets for those units, then yes.

some troops show up in editor but not when i have them spawn from a building during random games. some examples- Blood elf, night elf demon hunter, night elf warrior , Miev, Amazon Archer , Amazon Warrior and the lich king. I checked how i put it in more than 4 times any ideas?

It looks like EE is still on version 2.8, so UMC should still be working. If they update the proto/techtree version numbers, let me know.

I've updated UMC High Priority to work with the 2.8 patch. If it's not working or you find any bugs, please let me know. Aside from a few obvious fixes, I have left the vanilla EE data untouched and only ported the UMC data into the new proto and techtree files.

UMC will be updated to be compatible with the 2.8 patch as soon as it is officially released. There is no harm in posting here to remind me to update the mod when that happens.

sounds like a great mod from a brilliant guy...but im using the 2.74 patach and the mod shows up as prescribed but when i play the game nothing has changed so i guess its not compatible...so im unsubcribing from it till i can fiure out why your mod is not working...sucks...cause it really was well done

just subscribed, put it at the top priority but nothing shows up. the names are showing in the editor, but not the actual things themselves. I have version 2.7.4. please help.

UMC High Priority has been updated to be compatible with EE patch 2.7. Please report any and all bugs that you find.

The mod hasn't been updated for 2.7 and won't be until FE is done patching the game. I don't know when that will be.

It looks like they did release the 2.7 patch but from what I understand the game is being continually patched. I'm going to hold off on porting any mods until the game is in a more stable i.e. less-frequently patched state, otherwise I would just be wasting my time.

Is this compatible with the new update changes? As of last week when they released the minor update I haven't been able to use any units or buildings from any UMC mod, which is a darn shame because these unit models are elaborate and I love the Roman civilization and the base game does not do enough justice to realistic depiction. I hope the mod gets updated and I can use it again.

Not all of the packs were uploaded so some prefixes are not available. However, the Beta pack was uploaded by LightningStorm. It's called "UMC Beta Units" and can be found in the collection.

I've recently gotten back into AOM and have subscribed to the entirety of the UMC collection. Something I've noticed is that a few units listed are unavailable and I haven't found the files to download. The unit names begin with the "*BETAb". Where would I be able to find the files for those units?

Yes. If you aren't subscribed to them, you don't have the textures. Hence the icons will be blank and crash if you try to place them.

there are several blank terrain textures present in the "paint terrain" menu that when used, provoke a game crash, any idea why ?

Exciting news. The developers have returned to give us a 2.7 patch for EE. If you are using the public beta for 2.7, UMC will not work. I will be updating the mod as soon as the final 2.7 patch is released.

After you subscribe, you will need to restart AoMEE and it will show up in your mod manager. You can access the mod manager by clicking the Steam icon in the main menu.
