Just a quick glimpse I am making it slightly larger. Going to clean out the interior a bit to allow people to upgrade it as they go instead of including everything. Larger cargo bay for your needs and more power!
Stay tuned!
The design is beautiful, sleek, and it's incredably nimble for such a large vessel.
There are a few downsides, it sucks power packs down like a hummer does gas, and limited armarments.
Despite that, this is my primary CV. But i had to tweak some things to suit my needs.
For example, I added 75% more power and fuel, and some turret emplacements, amoung other things^^
My modifiations don't make it perfectly smooth and styled like Zero-G's original, but it keeps the general layout, and I love it^^ It's beautiful to land on other planets and walk through the windowed areas and just watch, a larger observation deck would do this version well since it was designed as a cruise ship and not a light warship I often use it as heh.
I would love to see a native combat varient to this design, sporting heavy weapons, armour, and better power systems, esp built for fighting other CV's and fortified bases in orbit or atmosphere.
Also this pre-alpha stuff if just a bad rumor that has been spreading. Feel free to use this without worry. if you don't believe me maybe @Arturius1967 could shed some light~
Also, we could use someone with your abilities on our team. Come join us! :)
Thanks for the feedback! I hope you give Cerberus another try~
Cuz the generators are in the rear and exposed.
But ship looks very nice on estatics.
if i didnt had already my perfect cv i would definitely use it ^^
i might download it and craft one just to leave on my base's landing pad for the beauty of it, kinda like leaving a ferrari on your front lawn for show off XD.
@psychohijack, this is a medium size CV, we dont expect it to be super agile lol.
but hopefully your comments can help for her next ship.
really good interior.
so im wondering why so many t2 rcs?
after the t2 rcs came out i have ure old valkyre refitted, kick out all t1 rcs and put only 1 t2 rcs in.
wonderful moving with that.
the valkyre are arround 2 kt (after my refitting) wight.the cerberus have 3.17 kt fresh from fabrick. so why 8x t2 rcs? u need 2 maximum 3 t2 rcs for this ship.
on oscutune movin in atmosphere the enegy goes some time to red.
need more generator power i think (same probleme have the orginal valkyre, runs by me with 2 big generators).
the moving need some update.forward is nice.forward then back is slow.step left+right is mega slow.up with putting spacebar is terrible. sorry. down is ok. the other moving (q,e and mouse) from rcs power is really to fast for the rest thrusters.all testet on oscutune.
hope my comment can help u to make ure ship perfeckt.
sorry for my bad english.
From what I see, it needs late-game ingots (Erestrum, Zascosium).
I'm close to have starter version of Polaris, however Cerberus seems to be more suitable for my purposes on (mostly) PvE server...
