You can also use the mod Find It! for even more effective control: when you place the building you choose in Find It, it will not be replaced as long as the lot size is the same (so, in this case, it must be placed over an already zoned space), and as long as it is a top level building (Lv5 for housing, Lv3 for commercial & office). This all seems a lot of info, so I hope it makes sense

Hi there, that's right, it is not a district style. Here's how to make it so that most of your houses are these: Even without mods, these will be spawning automatically once a lot of land reaches level 4 and 5, IF the space you zoned is 2x2.. Because the game prefers to fill large areas of zoned land with 4x4 houses, nstead of using the bucket to fill a zoning area, use the box by box zoning tool to fill in 2x2 individual plots with a space between each house's lots, your probability of having one of these houses is then very high. It also looks more like a real American suburb to have one space on each side (normal sized side yards). Does that help?
