The Halflings are hateful little buggers if you start building wonders.
ChaffyExpert 24 Feb, 2019 @ 6:21pm
too bad, there's all types of things that could be done for the whole Generic Fantasy theme.

I'm sorry but so far I'm not planning on doing any more of these or any other on Civ VI, I'm way too busy and don't even play Civ V anymore, so do as you wish. Glad you like them btw.
The Kraken 17 Jun, 2018 @ 5:52am
This mid series is easily one of the best fro any game. However I was wondering if any new factions might be released? Or whether a release on Civ VI is coming? If not I might try and make my own faction in this style.

lol thank you @Archon you gave me a chuckle
ChaffyExpert 10 Apr, 2018 @ 1:11pm
"The tribe" and "the kingdom" should be the next civilizations, since we already have Empire and Republic.
Star-X 5 Feb, 2018 @ 5:41pm
One race missing from this list that really, REALLY should be added?

Lizardfolk/Lizardmen/Lizard people.
Emperor 15 Jan, 2018 @ 6:07am
The only gud Harflin' is a dead Harflin'.

Favourite mod series, hands down. I recall reading something about you considering to make this for Civ VI as well? I was wondering if there's any news on that front, because it's the only thing that would get me to play the game.
Trigg 4 Jul, 2017 @ 9:06pm
Is there a mod that goes with these civilizations in order to change other things about the game?
Lysander Valerius 27 Jun, 2017 @ 7:13pm
Eyyy looove your mods same as you I get triggered seeing ancient romans playing with washington lol.
smok1121 17 Jun, 2017 @ 4:48am
Good one
Lothar 3 May, 2017 @ 6:31pm
Any idea why only about half these mods show up for me? I realy want to play them, but only Sea Pirates, The Empire, The Republic, And The Undead show up for me.
Redacted 8 Apr, 2017 @ 5:12pm
I am with Don Julio. That would be great! If you are getting some of these you need Extra Victory Conditions.:steamhappy::steamhappy::steamhappy:

Best alternetive mod ever. I wish Sid would let us create our own civs instead of choosing one
waltboyjones 4 Mar, 2017 @ 7:30pm
Is there a religion i can add to this or does each come with their religions etc
FreeGravy 17 Feb, 2017 @ 11:05pm
Yes! They work for me just fine, I've been testing each one. =D
Miath 17 Feb, 2017 @ 1:56pm
The question must be asked regrettably, as I found these late and lament over such. Do they still work? (I have all the DLC, yes).
Lord General Nitwit 29 Jan, 2017 @ 3:38am
@Duuk there is a disable basegame civs mod on the workshop somewhere ( I think, at any rate), dont know where though.
Mad Cow 28 Jan, 2017 @ 3:47pm
Is there a way to DIS-able all other civs so you can start a map with random civs and ONLY have it select the ones from this list?
FellBranded 27 Dec, 2016 @ 5:27am
I have an idea for a new civilization. How about a science based Loremaster civ?
They would get bonuses scaling on their science gain, or maybe have a chance to salvage more from ruins than others, and as for unique units maybe let them gain science for attacking or get experience quicker. Think The Drakken from Endless Legend for aesthetic. :steamhappy:

I'm having the same issue - all mods activated but they don't show up... any suggestions? Or a direct mods folder?
Bagrat 2 Dec, 2016 @ 6:08pm
Gnomes or Tieflings
NG (Linux) 27 Nov, 2016 @ 5:07am
@.chalaux Can you address the Linux compatibilty? Or is it not possible to run the mods on Linux? Anyway thanks for your good work!
MdrnGunslinger 6 Nov, 2016 @ 11:13am

MdrnGunslinger 6 Nov, 2016 @ 11:13am
anyone else having a problem loading the mods? like the civs dont show even when i have them on, so am i missing something?
NG (Linux) 23 Oct, 2016 @ 5:05am
Any one know if the mods work on linux?

I subscribed and enable them on the MOD menu (sure I clicked next next next until it went back to main menu) with no other mods enable, but I can't see any of them when choose civilisations.

Any help?
Bartley 18 Oct, 2016 @ 1:44am
At first there was no fantasy civs to go with them. Now they go with eachother and I can't wait to play as the Inquisition- what a show.
WolfintheWheat 12 Oct, 2016 @ 6:59pm
Please please please don't quit working on this! :KScared: I need moar fantacivs! Pls. Also I was looking forward to seeing the Paladin/Religious Knights/etc faction!

Oh and, P.S. The Assassin's Guild never seems to actually acquire new cities with their dude that's supposed to do that.
Aether 8 Oct, 2016 @ 9:55am
I don't see any of them on the game mods list
clueless42222 29 Sep, 2016 @ 7:07pm
Figured it out, don't worry, I was being an idiot.
bees 23 Sep, 2016 @ 8:26pm
Honestly, the halflings are one of my favorite civs I've played in a while. Nothing like a 40 population city by the rennaisance era. The halfling water mill has to be one of the best buildings I've seen, provided you're near rivers.
Sytonis 23 Sep, 2016 @ 1:27pm
i dont get this game sure i love it but everything looks the same except a few troops and city styles its stupid.
kitsune01 23 Sep, 2016 @ 6:45am
@.chalaux how about making "new" units with the same stats, then replacing them in the research? so basically, make a special version of every unit as a race specific unit. these are already in the game, so that *should* work, right?
xalauch  [author] 23 Sep, 2016 @ 1:32am
@Sytonis the game's coding doesn't really allow that, unless a mod is made that changes the appearance of ALL units of a same type like "Ethnic Units" or "R.E.D" does for example. Anyway, I would require new models for each race and that's going way too far, way too much work.
Sytonis 23 Sep, 2016 @ 12:35am
how is it impossible?
xalauch  [author] 21 Sep, 2016 @ 2:23pm
@blub01 literally impossible
kitsune01 21 Sep, 2016 @ 7:51am
Suggestion (if that is even possible): Reskin of all the normal units, too. Playing as dark elves and looking at your own warriors who seem to be perfectly human is weird.
vividity 19 Sep, 2016 @ 9:08pm
yes yes i love this
except halflings those are lame
but theres no way to make them cool so its not your fault
good job i love this!
Doc.Volteer [Fr Pt] 11 Sep, 2016 @ 1:21pm
Cool Stuff I got a suggestion can you do Dragonborn Civilization ? Based of the D&D series
mlvolk 10 Sep, 2016 @ 11:24am
@mshanson919 yes i liked quite a few of your ideas, namely snow elves, grey steel, black thorn, highlanders, and possibly vampire and vampire hunters
KeyanTheKorean 30 Aug, 2016 @ 9:28pm
Thanks so much! i thought i was the only one that was irritated by historical civs doing inhistorical stuff!
Little Nash Rambler 26 Aug, 2016 @ 6:27pm
mshanson i on to something, these are good smarts (ideas), and i too have suggested mountain orcs.
Vonhanson21 24 Aug, 2016 @ 8:45pm
@Finnished question did u like any others or have ideas for some ?
mlvolk 24 Aug, 2016 @ 5:46pm

No lizard men?
MTJP 21 Aug, 2016 @ 10:03am
You've made production, gold, growth, movement, and several war-based civs, but have you ever thought about making a faith-based civ? I would love to see that happen.
