Yep, it's a perennial everbloom! I occasionally update it just to get the red warning to go away, but it will always be compatible unless they change the way that music is loaded!

@Jfp3 I go all around the spectrum of music, funny enough my preferred recently in Indie Folk. But there is a decent amount of Shoegazer in there as well! And electronic music in general

Just fyi, I did it for my local copy using the program JRiver, but it's not a free program. It solved the scratching/clicking.

Hi, this is a fantastic collection, but some of the files are in 48000hz instead of 44100hz. An example of this is "Aleks Michalski - Aeternum II". I had a quick look and it seems all the ones with an asterix to indicate they've been recently added are in 48000hz.

The files in 48000hz sometimes sound scratchy/clicky as a result when played in-game (it's a paradox issue). They will sound fine out of game. You can read about it for Crusader Kings 2 here: https://ck2.paradoxwikis.com/Music_modding

It's a big ask, but any chance you could do a batch convert of the pack so they're all in 44100hz? (This also goes for Vol 2). There's 19 files in Vol 1 and 35 files in Vol 2 with the problem.

I believe the program Audacity can do batch conversion of multiple files so you don't have to do one by one, although I haven't tried it yet.

@Turkey I don't see why it shouldn't be! Music mods don't change the checksum as far as I'm aware, so you should be good to go! Easiest way to test is to just start the game with just this mod (or any music mod) enabled and see if it disables achievements

@Splashngo Yeah, sorry about that then! There was an update that completely changed the way that the game handles music, and I can't remember if it was 2.0 or earlier, but as far as I know any earlier versions it's not compatible with the new system, so my apologies!

but it doesnt matter, i can play them with my PlexAmp, so all is good

@Necromenta Try unsubscribing and resubscribing, and delete your modregistry.json file in your documents folder before opening the launcher again and see if that helps any. It could be a caching error, maybe?

I dont know, I think its just a steam error, it doesnt start to download, just say "missing download files" no matter how hard I try or even subbing again

@Splashngo As long as 1.9.1 came after the patch that overhauled how music mods work, then yes! The version number is just a formality to stop the launcher from freaking out, nothing actually changes except the the number.
