Please update for 2.3

Thanks.
Lupe Fenris 25 Aug, 2018 @ 3:49pm
UPDATE PLEASE!
I think it's better if it does not have a warning sign. Although it is not a problem.
AbneR 24 Feb, 2018 @ 6:47pm
I will no joke pay you money to update this. Its so good man. PDS needs to hire someone with eyes
AbneR 23 Feb, 2018 @ 9:36am
2.0 is unplayable without this mod. Please update when you can.
henk 3 Feb, 2018 @ 5:42pm
Can't believe Paradox didn't give the option to change these type of graphics on the fly.
Smitherino 28 Jan, 2018 @ 12:41am
so basically its RIP with cherryh, becuase that overhauls the border graphics.
Earendil_ 25 Jan, 2018 @ 9:25am
I think this mod works in any version in the future unless Paradox changes border graphics.
Xherdos 11 Jan, 2018 @ 6:56am
Great mod now i can finally enjoy it a bit more to see everything else instead of the over colored Borders
kinngrimm 20 Dec, 2017 @ 12:29am
works in 1.9. . Not sure i am here at the right place though to ask, if the borders themselves could be smoother? It is quite rough when it comes to the pixels drawn. Could that have to do with 'UI Overall 1080p Plus' mod i have installed?
Peter34 18 Oct, 2017 @ 12:13am
Yup. Just don’t choose a dark purple flag.
LAJ-47FC9 17 Oct, 2017 @ 11:43pm
Mod works perfectly for me in 1.8.2. It's awesome.
Peter34 14 Oct, 2017 @ 11:53am
It works for me.
NiKuTa 14 Oct, 2017 @ 11:04am
is this mod working on 1.8.2 ??
DarthJarJar 13 Oct, 2017 @ 5:21pm
Hello, is this mod still getting updated? If so it would be awesome if you could make it compatible with the latest Stellaris update :)
Battlespark 9 Oct, 2017 @ 4:37pm
Thanks for the info peter, good to know this still works lol.
N3XUS12 26 Sep, 2017 @ 10:18am
So is this mod achievement compatible or...?
Crazed Dutchman 26 Sep, 2017 @ 7:39am
Peter that happens, if the devs didn't touch the shader files, nothing will break. and than we are just lucky that such mod still works
Peter34 23 Sep, 2017 @ 7:12am
Weirdly, this mod seems to work in 1.8, despite not having been updated.
Thadom570 17 Sep, 2017 @ 9:19am
i still unscribed paraplegic. i'ts not my job
nikromancer 14 Jun, 2017 @ 11:29am
Hey guys looks like it’s taking a while for the author to update this to 1.6.* so instead I just did it myself.

Because the game is still playable with the current version, all you need to do is find the "ugc_695602001.mod file in the mod directory. (Yours might not be the same number you'll need to open each one in a text editor to verify you've opened the right one). Once you find it, simply change the version to 1.6.* including the (*). This will remove the warning and having to click okay on the "the outdated mod might break your game window"

This works because there is nothing actually game breaking with this outdated mod and 1.6. However, in future updates something might change in which case we will have to wait on the author to make this mod compatible with future releases.
Thadom570 27 May, 2017 @ 7:07pm
love it update 1.6.1
Arctic 15 May, 2017 @ 1:53am
Seems to still work with 1.6.1 (skipped 1.6)
Khanna 10 May, 2017 @ 2:47am
Could you update the mod?
Starfoth The Burgundy Silk Rug 23 Apr, 2017 @ 2:24pm
Game is hideous without this mod

Now instead of having every one of my senses offended (yes, not just sight, somehow magically affects the other 4) by bright, clashing, sickening colors, the galaxy looks amazing
Tн0яZєя0 17 Apr, 2017 @ 7:46am
Awesome tnx!
EvilVictor  [author] 17 Apr, 2017 @ 7:13am
Updated for 1.5, I had to fix a few things but unfortunately they didn't expose any new data to the shader, so still no way to do borders using both empire colors or anything like that. I'm looking into a better way to handle dark borders too.
Peter34 10 Apr, 2017 @ 8:30pm
Just reporting in to you guys, that after having disabled this mod, the effect is absolutely amazing. Now I'm actually able to *see* what's mine and what's not yet mine. It's crazy nice.

This mod is broken, at least with some border colours, such as the purple one that my polity has. Please fix. I'd like this mod to recreate the look of how it was in 1.3/1.4, because that was nice, and it was high usability, rather than frustating.
Peter34 10 Apr, 2017 @ 8:22pm
Okay, I'm going to have to disable this mod until it gets fixed. Not being able to easily see where my own Borders are is immensely frustrating.
baronjutter 10 Apr, 2017 @ 8:05am
Any way to make the hyperlanes more visible? I always have a hard time seeing them, specially if an empire has a more light colour.
EvilVictor  [author] 9 Apr, 2017 @ 8:48am
@Darksteel The only color passed to the shader is the primary empire color. I don't know if this changed with latest update, if it has changed I'll be able to do so much more.
[LOOT] Darksteel 9 Apr, 2017 @ 12:36am
@EvilVictor, is it possible to make the trim around the outside of borders a different color from the fill? For exapmle, making the outside of the borders the secondary flag color, and the inside the primary?
EvilVictor  [author] 8 Apr, 2017 @ 6:07pm
It's pretty easy to modify that, I put some instructions in the discussion "Adjusting the fill opacity" just above the comments here. I won't have much free time for about another week to do anything myself. Hopefully they've exposed some additional data to the shaders with the update since I was pretty limited before and they did mention making them easier to differentiate from other empires with the same color.
Peterowsky 8 Apr, 2017 @ 8:05am
I agree with Peter34.

I love the concept, and it looked extremely promising, but at the moment it feels like there is absolutely no colour within the borders at all. I guess to each their own, but I would love a version with about half the colour of vanilla, and accented borders.
AbneR 7 Apr, 2017 @ 4:30am
Please update this epic, epic mod. cheers
Peter34 6 Apr, 2017 @ 8:20pm
I think maybe the effect is a bit too strong in 1.5. This mod worked fine in 1.4, but here in 1.5 my Border graphics are sometimes so faint they're hard to see. Granted, they're some flavour of purple, but still. Maybe tone down the effect a bit, thereby toning up the brightness a tiny bit, for 1.5?
Tyriss 4 Mar, 2017 @ 9:53am
Thank you... Just.. thank you... very much...

PS I<3U
Steven 25 Feb, 2017 @ 6:44am
sense there is no comment on this i thought i would ask do achivements work with this mod ?
[LOOT] Darksteel 22 Feb, 2017 @ 4:08pm
Out of curiosity, how feasable would it be to make the edge of the border your secondary flag color?
MasterOfGrey 9 Feb, 2017 @ 4:07am
Is this Ironman acheivement compatible?
JiveTurkey 28 Jan, 2017 @ 9:35am
Excellent job you've done with this mod. You should update it for the latest release though.
Gravy My Bacon 24 Jan, 2017 @ 1:09am
Bro, this is a great mod, can you please update it? Much love!
Étendard 5 Jan, 2017 @ 2:30am
Update please!
MapleSierrap 5 Dec, 2016 @ 6:14pm
1.4.* probably doesn't break compatibility, but could you please update version anyway? Thank you.
Tн0яZєя0 15 Nov, 2016 @ 10:39pm
This + Hidden Hyperlanes = love it! :squirtyay:
Cleveland 1 Nov, 2016 @ 7:37am
I know this isn't really a part of your mod, but any chance you could thicken up the hyperlane lines? They are exceedingly difficult to see under many conditions. Thanks.
kinngrimm 31 Oct, 2016 @ 12:49pm
love your mod, pls update :) to 1.3.1
EvilVictor  [author] 23 Oct, 2016 @ 5:14am
So they actually changes the shader files? Wow, I'll take a look at them here in a bit. :)
Jawa 23 Oct, 2016 @ 2:12am
Hm, works with 1.3, however the new bloom seems to be applied to faction map logos with this mod enabled which causes a lot of glare.
praytell 21 Oct, 2016 @ 2:36pm
Oh, Nevermind my comment, Heinlien fixed that bug. :)
Not Amused Painis cupcake 21 Oct, 2016 @ 10:14am
Could you please update for heinlein :)
