any updates on this thing or is it abandoned and not working planet?
Malpherian 5 Jul, 2024 @ 7:57pm
What is the recommended planet size for the height maps?
Zanzikahn  [author] 10 Jul, 2017 @ 7:59am
I will have to check into this. The liquid hydrogen is suppose to be metallic looking. If it is pink, it might be a texture error.
FlickyFlack 7 Jul, 2017 @ 1:02pm
Is it intentional that the texture of the liquid hydrogen is pink?
Airomis 2 Jul, 2017 @ 12:40pm
you should make a vent that can pull in the gas to fill the hydrogen tanks =)
FlickyFlack 2 Jul, 2017 @ 12:24pm
What is the recommended Planet Size to match the height map? Thanks :D

@Nicholai, so your the one he was talking about. He has been waiting for you to get back on so he could refund you your station and apologize for the inconvenience. He accidently did it while shifting through space master.
ProtocolPalpatine 11 Sep, 2016 @ 1:35pm
i can give u coords of the roid if you want assuming my ship is still there, your moderator accidently deleted my space station so i quit your server
alos 11 Sep, 2016 @ 7:21am
yup XD probably
Zanzikahn  [author] 11 Sep, 2016 @ 5:34am
:/ @Alos, this video and photo is of this planet, I assure you. XD You might have different graphical settings than what I use.
alos 10 Sep, 2016 @ 2:05pm
The atmosphere doesn't seem to look like this photo & video...
Zanzikahn  [author] 8 Sep, 2016 @ 1:48pm
@Nickolai, I will have to look into that. I don't mind it popping up in roids, but I don't think it would make sense, since there is no intense gravity causing the hydrogen to form that way. @Alos, I very well could make a replica of the planet without the new material. ;)
ProtocolPalpatine 3 Sep, 2016 @ 3:45pm
on your server i was getting liquid h2 from random generated roids. they would not show up on the detector but every now and then id hit pockets of h2. did you mean for that?
Zanzikahn  [author] 18 Aug, 2016 @ 3:16pm
@Airomis This planet has my liquid hydrogen material in specific, so no. @Curiopath The atmosphere thrusters have increased power, so it should be relatively the same difficulty as getting off any other planet, cept that you don't have use of your jetpack.
Curiopath 17 Aug, 2016 @ 12:48pm
That is some intense gravity... it tood me almost a day to make something strong enough to get back off....
Airomis 11 Jun, 2016 @ 12:34pm
Is this planet compatible with the other liquid hydrogen / oxygen mods out there?
leonitus_magnum 6 Jun, 2016 @ 6:12pm
and yoink
Airomis 5 Jun, 2016 @ 2:09pm
Couldn't you set the density of the giant to a high number and do a check if a hydrogen thruster is use in a density of x the thruster explodes
Zanzikahn  [author] 5 Jun, 2016 @ 9:25am
I am unsure how hard it would be or if it is even possible to script exploding hydrogen thrusters based on proximity of a high hydrogen content planet but I can very much make a gas giant. :)
SMU 4 Jun, 2016 @ 10:10pm
+1 to your idea Airomis.
Airomis 4 Jun, 2016 @ 12:56pm
You could use that concept to make gas giants, planets where hydrogen trusters can blow your ships up and so on
Airomis 4 Jun, 2016 @ 12:54pm
That would be great
Zanzikahn  [author] 4 Jun, 2016 @ 9:26am
Having hydrogen levels anywhere between 4%-78% in the atmosphere would mean our thrusters would ignite the atmosphere. I could however look into the possibility of having such a feature scipted into an additional mod. ;)
Airomis 3 Jun, 2016 @ 8:29pm
It would be cool if you could set up a way to pull some hydrogen from the atmosphere of the planet via vents it wouldn't be as effective as landing and mining it but still a way to get fuel
Zanzikahn  [author] 3 Jun, 2016 @ 2:00pm
Will have them soon. Very busy.
SMU 3 Jun, 2016 @ 8:12am
Hi there, how about some more images of the surface of the planet. Cheers!
