i wish that someone could do a mod for steam in skyrim that is glass with abony in the armor as the mod of real glass weapons with abony in it please
Storm_at_Sea 17 Dec, 2017 @ 5:46am
Actually, looking at the picture you're showing above, mine looks nothing like that :/ I'll try an uninstall/reinstall of the mod.
Storm_at_Sea 17 Dec, 2017 @ 5:45am
I put a suit of blue glass armor on a mannequin next to the vanilla glass and had a hard time even seeing the difference. Anyway to make the blue more obvious? I don't mean loud, but at least where you can tell it's something different. (no offense intended)

Awsome!!! Got tired of the green glass.

Reasons why sp0ckrates is an absolute god: Who needs a reason? Just look at this stuff.

Nice, it would also look pretty epic
sp0ckrates  [author] 22 Sep, 2016 @ 12:38pm
Veritas: Yes, I should. Others have requested it, too.
BeardedWoobie 21 Sep, 2016 @ 2:05pm
Can you make a red version?
sp0ckrates  [author] 28 Aug, 2016 @ 7:51am
No problem
H3tzer 27 Aug, 2016 @ 8:12am
@sp0ckrates I was simply curious. Thanks for the info anyways. I used to do alot of skinning in games like War Thunder or World of Tanks, and was wondering how similar it was. I've never worked with skyrim modding or anything outside of re-texturing the various vehicles in the pre-mentioned games. I use Gimp because its free as well and has alot of flexibility, but I can agree with it having a more aggressive learning curve. Either way, nice looking armor! :D
sp0ckrates  [author] 27 Aug, 2016 @ 6:29am
Hetzer: Easy if you use texture sets. Hard if you do it my way, which is to modify the directory paths to the textures. Of course, experience with a good image editor like Paint.NET is required (does many of the same things like Gimp, but is easier to learn and also free).

Why do you ask? Need help making your own retexturing mod?
H3tzer 23 Aug, 2016 @ 8:38am
I have two questions for you. How hard is it to recolor something like this? I'm not very familiar with making stuff like this, so I wouldn't know. Also, if it isn't to much of a bother, do you think you could do a few more colors? or maybe even 1 or 2? White, orange, purple or yellow, or anything else you wish. Was curious, love the mod :D really nice armor change! :steamhappy:
sp0ckrates  [author] 18 Aug, 2016 @ 9:31am
Looks great!
sp0ckrates  [author] 29 Jun, 2016 @ 3:22am
Saga: Thanks. Yeah I might add them.
Sega 28 Jun, 2016 @ 8:33pm
oh and blue glass arrows should be added to your blue glass weapons mod
Sega 28 Jun, 2016 @ 8:31pm
This mod is awesome I recemend this to everyone even people that dont have skyrim :)
sp0ckrates  [author] 17 Jun, 2016 @ 8:30am
Saviliana: Can't think of a reason why not
Saviliana 17 Jun, 2016 @ 8:09am
BTW, will this be compitable to frostfall?
sp0ckrates  [author] 15 Jun, 2016 @ 3:14am
Saviliana: Blue shield? Yes. Blue weapons? In the other mod, but no blue arrows, yet.
Saviliana 14 Jun, 2016 @ 8:57pm
Will there be a blue shield, and arrows/bolts? I had seen onces a blue glass shield on nexus but they seems to removed that mod.
sp0ckrates  [author] 13 Jun, 2016 @ 11:29am
Alien: Yeah, I might do a multi-color glass mod for both armor and weapons. Maybe red, white and blue for the 4th of July?
The Snow Falls as the Wind Blows 13 Jun, 2016 @ 9:55am
Other Glass colours would be cool, like jet or blood red, though making loads of separate mods for it could outwheigh the positives of it...
Rainbow Pig 12 Jun, 2016 @ 1:19pm
Yes Yes it is
sp0ckrates  [author] 12 Jun, 2016 @ 6:27am
Of course! Blue is the coolest. :)
Rainbow Pig 11 Jun, 2016 @ 9:20pm
this is cool
sp0ckrates  [author] 11 Jun, 2016 @ 3:21am
DGiovannetti: Thanks for considering making a donation. 😊

I haven't tried any customization mods. Many change the race object in the creation kit, and so they are incompatible with other mods that change the race. For Argonians, the customization mods that add claws to the feet and make horns show through hoods look good. For mer and human, some of the tattoo and hair mods appear to be promising. I'd recommend saving your game before trying them out to see if the other mods you use still work.
DGiovannetti 11 Jun, 2016 @ 2:22am
thanks for the mod, would you recomend mods for character customization? im looking for new hair and overall faces male/fem
btw gonna create paypal just for you
i´ll let you know when the donnation´s done, keep up the good work ^^:steamhappy:

sp0ckrates  [author] 5 Jun, 2016 @ 8:12am
I have a collection for each :)
sp0ckrates  [author] 5 Jun, 2016 @ 8:11am
Blackout: Yeah, it's my thing.

* Amazing Race Tweaks - changes races
* Better Rewards and Treasure - changes loot and quest rewards
* Better Improvements for Gameplay - changes perks and other ways the game works
* Skyrim Encounters and Themes - changes actors, architecture, furniture and clutter
* Weapons, Armor and Robes - changes existing weapons, armor and robes, or adds new ones
sp0ckrates  [author] 5 Jun, 2016 @ 8:05am
Ghost: No, like the WAR: Unique One-Handed Weapons mod, I'd make sure the mod doesn't change the ID numbers of any quest item. So some things couldn't be changed, like the Daedric quest reward weapons. They can be changed from two-handed to one handed and still keep the same IDs, but they can't be changed from melee weapon to staff. However, weapons and armor that aren't required to complete a quest, may be changed. For example, Trollsbane, which a steel warhammer that does extra damage to trolls. It could be changed into a fire staff that does double fire damage to trolls and normal fire damage to others.

I really like what spocrates is doing here. He is taking the glass armor and weapons, and just overhauling the hell out of glass stuff. He made blue, he might make red, he might make light armored robes, he might make heavy armor varients of glass armor, and now he might make staffs. I never would have started actually using glass if it weren't for his addons. Now that there are possibly gonna be even more glass things, I enjoy waiting for the next addon to come out.
Rei 5 Jun, 2016 @ 7:52am
But would it mess up the quest for them?
sp0ckrates  [author] 5 Jun, 2016 @ 7:46am
:)
Rei 5 Jun, 2016 @ 7:20am
Do you mean like nettle bane and such? if so then yes that would be awesome!!!
sp0ckrates  [author] 5 Jun, 2016 @ 5:59am
Pro at club penguine: You need to (1) do smithing and add the Glass Smithing perk, then (2) make them at a forge.
sp0ckrates  [author] 5 Jun, 2016 @ 5:58am
Ghost: I might make a mod that takes the unique (named) weapons and armor of the game and makes them staffs and robes. What do you think?
sunflowerlover57 4 Jun, 2016 @ 8:56pm
how do you get these items?

Rei 4 Jun, 2016 @ 7:41pm
i relize staffs arent all important but please also maybe a glass crossbow (just throwing out ideas) (please ignore my spelling)
Rei 4 Jun, 2016 @ 7:40pm
is it possible if you could make a Glass staff set? i use a wizard follower and i use magic to!!!
DynamX 4 Jun, 2016 @ 4:05pm
Ah, ok. I didn't know
sp0ckrates  [author] 4 Jun, 2016 @ 1:56pm
Blackout: As soon as robes are changed from clothing to light armor, alteration perks don't apply. But It is possible to give clothing an armor value. You wouldn't get light armor level up when you get hit, but it would add more protection.
sp0ckrates  [author] 4 Jun, 2016 @ 1:53pm
Blackout: Let me think about making an unenchanted armor have an enchantment-like property.
