Hi there! I liked the V2A5M, so I updated it for Alpha 11.5. I replaced the Grav gen with T2 shield, did the usual updating for the new version, and it's now T3 ~782k CPU, and still handles pretty well! I am sorry, I was busy with college so have not been in the game much of late. I also just suffered computer failure and lost new ship but a friend may have it. At any rate I am done with school for now and plan to build a new Brutus this month for fun. Sorry you will have to wait little longer; also the games constant updates have made it hard to keep up with when building ships.

Well I guess if it still has people that want it, a updated version can be made for sure. I had made a new bigger ship that works a lot like it but looks bit different. I never have posted it yet tho it's fairly new.

Truly fantastic build! I absolutely love this ship. The layout is intuitive and easy to navigate. I love the texture/color combination you've used. This ship is what I've had in mind each time I've tried to build my own. Thanks for making this, it's amazing.

Yeah the workshop would not let me replace this Item its bugged and old now but there is two new versions of the ship BRUTUS-MINING-HULK-V2A5B for a new level 10 model and BRUTUS-MINING-HULK-V2A5M type one of those and you will find the new models

does this ship have mining gear on itself or I will need other vessel with me for mining?

well tell me if you want a elevator only one and I will mod and post one I know the stairs can be bad sometimes

Your top stair case to the top is too steep for the auto doors. I get stuck all the time, VERRY FRUSTRATING

I renamed it "The Incredible Bulk" and an appropriate color sceme to match the name. Love the hulking nature of this one.

The new variant is also out now its kind of a brown had to change it because of the new lighting system. The new one is the BRUTUS-MINING-HULK-V1A4

also, the side bay would be perfectly useable if you got rid of the pointless pillars blocking either side of the entrance. just saying.

yes just yes. i love this ship i live out of it most of the time tbh. the cannons keep the critters off you and the plasma cannons are good to deal with small stuff. made of steal tho :( not really a flaw tho its not meant to be a combat ship

I agree I love it as well but cannot justify BP again untill its upgraded with combat metal and the lower deck upgraded with moving ramp etc. I might just do it myself and acknowlege magnussshields.

love this design, was the first CV I built. since then I have built a few other CVs, all they do is sit on my base for looks because they are power hogs and honestly BRUTUS was well thought out. Reciently, I have started making changes to it, another fridge here a butt tom of additional cargo there. Honestly I live out of this thing. THUMBS UP!!

its not designed to go into battle or zip around a planet.
its asthetic only. meant to be a stationary base of operations and a work of art.
its the only CV i ever use and i love it!
i made a few alterations, i.e: bottom turrets, a top greenhouse, strategic shielding and combat blocks but i kept the exterior look intact.
its a great design! a thing of ugly beauty!

I Love this ship! Flys like a sv and handles beautifully! Enough firepower to keep the bad guys away and a seriously well thought out interior plan throughout. Perfect for intersteller mining!

Magnus, the official Empyrion forums just added a section under "blueprints" to share artifacts, crashed ships, and other phenomena. If you blew a few strategically placed holes in this craft, it would make a cool downed crashed ship. In addition you could build a derelict mining base to go with it on the same planet.

It is very cool design. So realistic, I almost have trouble using it. :)

Very nice interior, I like the use of curved angles, it gives an almost organic look. Turrets arms are also very nice. If I may, the landing pads and the ramp are too bulky. Thumbs up.

i would have a go myself but after losing 3 days worth res and being stranded on jupitar for 2 hrs im back at base now trying to build res up again to build a new cv.

Yeah I know I have said it before but I have been meaning to do a update of the craft. When I had built it ramps where not out yet. I guess I will have to try and get a Version 2 heavy out soon your not the only one who has wanted that.

I love the look of this one but i have a few niggles. I would have liked hard metal plating. I moved the fuel tanks that are exposed in teh bottom bay as can be easily shot. The bottom bay i felt could have been bigger and had sliding doors with extending ramp rather than fixed. other than that I really like it. Till i was destroyed with just a few shots.

This thing is a beast.

Really dig the interior craftsmenship.

The outer Hull is perfect! Kind of reflects the dust storms that have coated it. Perhaps it was once green, but now a muddy tan.
