Actually they are a modded version of the airtight hangar door (Large Armor Gates [WIP] (DX11)) - and they work exactly the same - just a slider into a single foundation block. The difference is, you can have them not only in 1x3, but also 1x4 and 1x5, which allows you to make much larger "blast doors" as i did. Hope this helps! :)

Yeah sure, go for it :) I have only made this one to make it work with conveyors, proper thrusters etc, but the final design is personal preference :)

I thought about making it so, but in the end I decided to stick with the original "erwin's" design (pre-hangar door) and only the yellow hangar bay door opens, but that by itself should give enough space for any craft that actually fits into the hangar bay to take off or land :)

You can, but you have to place in in the world first. So if you want to have it as a ship in sirvival, you have to load the world first as "creative" (and make sure that enable copy+paste is checked), then you place the blueprint in the game (f10, find it, double click it and ctrl+v it into the world) - then just make sure that its all set as your ownership, save the game, return to main menu, and re-load the world as survival, an you will have the ship, and if you die you can then respawn in it :)
