Just updated to 1.5.x, but this mod will work with any version.
Ravage  [author] 5 Mar, 2018 @ 1:25am
@yossarian - As long as you give proper credit as you offered, go right ahead.
Zamalek 18 Feb, 2018 @ 6:34am
Could I please use your mod in a mod that I'm making? I will give you credit of course, and also a link to your mod's page on the Workshop. Thanks in advance :)

who could ever find this out? Maybe it will come with a DLC, like "New Ingame Sound Animation 3D Ultra WMA" for five bucks.nobody knows... Thank you

THANK YOU SO MUCH OML

Just updating the mod now, but it should work no matter what version you're on.
Genosse 26 Nov, 2016 @ 7:52pm
Does it matter that this 'isn't compatible' with 1.2?
hunter117 28 Sep, 2016 @ 10:13am
update please
Popinski 21 Jul, 2016 @ 6:56pm
@Ravage can you fix the out of supply sound too?
Ravage  [author] 20 Jul, 2016 @ 7:01am
@Billiam - The new sound is simply the typewriter-like sound you hear when you get other less important alerts.
I still want to know when I'm being attacked, but wanted something more subtle and much less grating.
Billiam 18 Jul, 2016 @ 10:56am
Where do I click my mouse to hear the new and improved sound? Thanks for your contributions. (There's other sounds that could be replaced, too)
Ricoks 20 Jun, 2016 @ 7:18am
@Ravage, @Revan: I only wrote that because Ravage made the comment about ability to mute the sound & the mod, but I must have misinterpreted it. I meant to write that if you want to mute the sound, you could just replace it with a blank sound file, not that I necessarily want to mute it (although I'll probably keep the other mod that does that on the subscribed list to sometimes use, as I've had games as Germany where I was spammed with even this less annoying naval combat alert because my navy in the Baltic Sea kept engaging the Swedish & Danish sitting navies like every day without any results).

THANK YOU

YOU ARE A GOD
Ravage  [author] 19 Jun, 2016 @ 6:44am
Yes, this mod is Ironman compatible.
PazuzuHellMoth 18 Jun, 2016 @ 9:49pm
i love you

Ratzenflink 17 Jun, 2016 @ 5:32am
Does it work with Ironman?
Ravage  [author] 16 Jun, 2016 @ 1:38pm
@Vincent - This mod only changes a single sound. Any mod that alters the same file would be incompatible. I don't use that mod, so I can't say for certain.
Vincent_8798 16 Jun, 2016 @ 9:55am
Is this mod compatible with "Improved Naval Sound" mod ?
Kevin Kerman 16 Jun, 2016 @ 1:38am
oh, i was taking about another sounds, not the one in your video. but also related with naval thing.
Kevin Kerman 16 Jun, 2016 @ 1:37am
first time i though my game was broken, beacuse that sounds keep playing and i dont know what happend.. lol
Ravage  [author] 15 Jun, 2016 @ 2:07am
@Skeletor - no, you have the wrong file name.
It's "high_alert_01.wav" for this particular sound (play the video above to hear the original).
Sledgehammer 14 Jun, 2016 @ 1:39pm
naval_alarm_01 right?. I've never had trouble with mods before, so trust it to be with the most annoying sound in the world haha.
Ravage  [author] 14 Jun, 2016 @ 1:06pm
@Skeletor - Have you enabled the mod in the launcher? You have to do that after you subscribe to Workshop mods before they'll work.
If you tried replacing it manually, then I'm not sure what to say. Are you sure you have the right file name?
Sledgehammer 14 Jun, 2016 @ 8:31am
This doesn't seem to work for me. I have also tried changing the .wav file to a silent one but the annoying sound is still there. It's driving me nuts man!.
Revan 13 Jun, 2016 @ 11:19am
@Ricoks You could easily do this yourself! Make an emtpy sound file and replace it with same name, its not that hard..
Ravage  [author] 13 Jun, 2016 @ 9:53am
@Ricoks, yes, of course I can replace it with a "blank" sound file. But as I said earlier, I don't want to completely mute the sound. It's an important alert for a reason.
I just don't want the alert to drive me crazy.
Ricoks 13 Jun, 2016 @ 4:17am
@Ravage: Can't you "mute" the sound by simply replacing it with an empty, sound-less sound file? I think that could work. It still has a file to play, but nothing will come out of the file.
Studmunky 12 Jun, 2016 @ 6:58pm
Eff that sound. Eff it real hard. You're a hero.
Fritz125 12 Jun, 2016 @ 3:18pm
YEEEEESSS. Thank you so much for this.
Figge-Ferrum 11 Jun, 2016 @ 2:48am
Can you make it for the "low base supply" sound aswell. It would be awesome!!!
Xelerath 10 Jun, 2016 @ 5:35pm
Yea nice mod. You are right, that sound drive me insane in my Japan campaign :P
Ravage  [author] 10 Jun, 2016 @ 12:07pm
@b2kill - No, there isn't. If there were any way to mute that alarm, I would not have been forced to make this mod in the first place ;)
b2kill 10 Jun, 2016 @ 6:47am
Any way to completely disable the alarm? BTW I beat the Royal Navy and conquered England as Italy yesterday, the sounds were driving me nuts so I played the last 2 years with the sound muted. So annoying.
Wolves in the Throne Room 10 Jun, 2016 @ 2:29am
OMG thank you. What the hell was Paradox thinking
demodletc 10 Jun, 2016 @ 1:17am
Yes , you're right , im the mod the notification is not intrusive. its good like this
Ravage  [author] 9 Jun, 2016 @ 10:22am
I thought about that, but I would rather still hear some kind of subtle alert than nothing at all.
demodletc 9 Jun, 2016 @ 10:10am
I caming looking for a mod for this. A silent version would be nice too
