It is because you might be using a different account when playing or not using windows. either way try copying it everytime you play the game since no one is having a problem here with my work as long you followed the instructions.

It's really nice but the video soound (that is independant from the game sound setting) is incredibly too high, forcing me to always mute the game / my PC, until I launch a session. :AOESheep:

After making a copy of l4d2_background1 into 4 copies, rename them to l4d2_background02 to l4d2_background05. Then copy and paste them on the same folder where you post l4d2_background01. On C:\Program Files(x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\media
Then you're done..
