Mabye you can add a new state in Sweden that Norway used to own, and then add in the focus tree that they demand it back,

Can you add a new state called Sørlandet? It is a state irl and isnt in the game. In the game right now Sørlandet is split between Østlandet and Vestlandet. The state is down south of Norway.

@Stonebridge I have less time on my hand these days so don't count on a update. However the next DLC seems very nice to my so I might be inspired to play HoI4 again and perhaps update my mod.

Is there any chance we will see any Focus tree addings?

@Khanor Glad you like it. The mod must be pretty outdated by now. Sadly I have lost interest in WW2 and grand strategy for a while but I will come back to it someday. The picture was made by rjohansen over on the Paradox forum. Feel free to use anything in this mod for your own work.

@Ross Kemp No, sorry. I haven't touched this game in a long time. I have wanted to make a focus tree but I couldn't figure out how to do it. It's a hard thing as it requires a good amount of planning and knownledge on Norway. If I make one I want it to be realistic. I know of one mod which made one but I didn't like the unhistoric elements, such as getting oil.
I'll work more on this mod in the future.

The reason he's in this mod is because I ported him from the older HoI games.

"TheHistoricGamer I wanted the parties to be more different from each other. Left and AP are both leftist parties. Hambro also proved himself to be very capable during the war. The elections was every 3 years up to 1936 btw.

Why switch Venstre with Høyre? As in this time period Venstre was the bigger party. Even had the governement before Arbeiderpartiet (1933-1935) and before that 1921-1926. - note that the election was every 3 years up to 1938.

@Dande Informative pictures. I'm aware of Norwegian claims, but they are weak. The Greenland case was solved by the International Court for example. These claims are more fitting for the Kaiserreich mod.

My motivation for working with HoI4 haven't been that great. I'm working on different mods from time to time. Right now I'm doing a little more for the All in One mod for DH. I largely recommend checking it out. Norway have received a lot of improvements!

@Safe-Keeper Thanks for reminding me. Expect to see this changed in the next update.

An obvious addition to this project would be fixing the three "typos" in the state names, if you haven't already. Ostlandet to Østlandet, for example. Feel free to just borrow and implement my "Fixed Norwegian State Names" micro-mod if you want to.

And yeah, a focus tree is actually a much bigger job than it sounds like.

FYI this flag image is incorrect. There are rules for the thickness of the red,white and blue colored areas.

Am I the only one feeling Norway was shafted with resources and building slots?

@Horsetoe A national tree requires some work. I have a few other things I want to do before I get there.
