Some of the compatible mods listed here must either not be on the workshop anymore, or they go by different titles. I assume that LWS means Legacy Weapon Skins, but either I'm blind or the LWS Laser Weapon Pack doesn't exist. Same goes for the Star Wars: Republic Era Weapons. I'd like to have these mods, but I can't seem to find them. Would someone kindly point me in the right direction?

You might be able to pull them from the config file controlling the stats for the guns.

It depends on if you can find the template names for all tiers of cannons.

If you can find those, it's not hard for me to fix that.

Don't have the mod myself, so you'd probably have to test it yourself once I have that info.

I can add it to the Player Gun Requests thread, but I was running with A Better Weaponry by DerBK and it changes cannons -

+EditCannon_CV=Cannon_CV

So now the suppression ability does not appear on cannons. I suppose I could use Ability Editor or WSR to apply Suppression to them but was just curious how easily these could be patched.

Posted the probable solution for dependency issues. If it doesn't work, tell me and I'll just remove the other mods from the dependency list.

I can look into it, but this mod doesn't actually have any code that directly interacts with the suppression animation.

All it does is alter the weapon templates so suppression is an option.

Also, I made WOTC SVF and got that code into the highlander, so if the highlander doesn't work, you might want to let those guys know they broke something. If not, I can do it for you,

Is there a chance this will be updated for WOTC Community Highlander? Author of WOTC SVF says NOT to use WOTC SVF and WOTC CH together. So I use WOTC CH, but when i try to start the game it won't start cause its missing dependencies that is mod requires aka WOTC SVF.

I can't seem to get this to work. The mod's installed, and enabled in the launcher. But I don't get a notification, nor does it show up in the mcm.

I just read that E3245 said his weapon mod never worked properly with WotC and with LW2 gone, I guess there's no point using his weapon mod. Does your suppression mod play nice with "Global Weapon Stat Changer"? that looked cool but I defrinitely think certain weapons should be able to suppress and may not be able to...

Can you separate the Chosen weapons into two configurable variables: one for the Disruptor Rifle and other for the Darkclaw? I don't want the Darkclaw to have Suppression.

I think this is just to OP... i would like it if it were a weapon moddification to attach or an investigation. But every weapong having it permanently and by default its just to much. Still good mod

i downloaded lots of mods and when i tried launching it kept saying the same crash msg and then i tried removing the mods i thought wer the cause,when i finally have the remaining mods i used bfore the lots of mods downloaded it stil giving the same bullcrap only by deselecting all the wotc mods was i able 2 launch the game,i xit selected my usual mods and it gave me the same shit so i finally decided 2 uninstal and then installing it again if this doesnt work goodbye wotc 4 the rest of my life!

@wookiecop: 50/50 chance it does. I don't play LW2, so I've never had a reason to test it. It should use the same template names for the base game and LW pack games, but I don't know for sure.

Heads up: If you're playing WOTC and using this mod, the WOTC Suppression Visualization Fix is now integrated into the WOTC Community Highlander. You won't need the standalone fix mod.

Well, unlocking the option to change weapon color should be easy. Right now you can easely spot it's locked: Just equip the Chosen sniper on a sharphooter, his ordinary pistol color resets to white. Then, when you try to change weapon color, just the pistol is affected.

Someone with a remarcable sense of fashion, decided that all Chosen weapons are to be painted white. Then hard coded this so that you cannot change it.

@kregano: would you consider making a separate mod to unlock that ivory white top area on each of the Chosen weapons?
Or better, make the whole weapon body metallic?

I'm back, and I'm working on E3245's weapons mega pack! I'm probably not going to release an update supporting it until the LW2 and vanilla packs come out, since I'll be removing the existing E3245 guns from the options in order to accommodate the huge amount of guns in the mega pack.

I'm going to post the buggy WOTC Suppression Visualization Fix soon, since Hurricane Irma's heading my way and I cant guarantee I'll be able to mod for a while.

@TyrantLizard: Stuff that alters suppression should work with this, since it just puts the Suppression ability on guns.

I'll take it! I'm very excited to try this out, as I was hoping something existed to make suppression a much bigger part of gameplay. Now I just need something that causes enemies to be at least somewhat "pinned" by suppression (as is its purpose in real life), rather than enemies always charging out of cover blindly. In a game with a "Will" stat, it would make sense to have enemies and soldiers alike have to pass a check to leave cover, like in WH40K.

On that subject, any recommendations / warnings using this with other other mods related to suppression mechanics or AI? Particularly curious if anyone has tried this in conjunction with SuppressionPlus and/or A Better AI (which I believe both affect AI usage/response to suppression).

Good news and bad news.

Good news: I mostly have a WOTC Suppression Visualization Fix ready.

Bad news: For some reason, the WOTC version causes suppression on secondary weapons to trigger on the primary weapon instead.

@DC: I already have code for the bullpups and the WOTC SMG Pack uses the same template names, so those are already supported. The only reason I haven't pushed that update out is due to not having a Suppression Visualization Fix for WOTC. For whatever reason, the SDK doesn't recognize some parts of WOTC's visualization code as valid, so it just ends on build error warnings.

This mode adds a nice realism to the automatic weapons.

Request an add on if/when you are able to, the Bullpup from the Skirmisher and the Long War SMG Pack - WotC (unofficial).

Yes to MCM, probably for the visualization fix. As far as I can tell, whatever changes were made to WOTC didn't fix the fact that guns without Suppression animations don't work.

The mod is now updated for WOTC. In the game's launcher, it'll have the warning arrow when you launch WOTC, but it'll work just fine.
