Waste Of Oxygen 27 września 2018 o 16:13
Is there anyway I can stop just the star trek empires from spawning?
Nalincah 5 maja 2018 o 8:36
This mod seems to break the "Empire Spawning Forced"-Option. I created 7 empires, to with parts of this mod, started a new game with 6 AI-Empires and just got random empires (saw it with the "observe"-command)

Thentox 25 kwietnia 2018 o 17:49

spacelord_xan  [autor] 25 kwietnia 2018 o 11:16
i am afraid that this is the only solution I can currently provide.
maybe it is enough to just delete the xan_variables.txt
The file is under the path common/scripted_variables/
Thentox 22 kwietnia 2018 o 10:52
cool! so we have to go into game files to turn off spawn? there are so many random numbers to see the file names tho i wouldnt know where to begin!
spacelord_xan  [autor] 21 kwietnia 2018 o 5:16
I have made a new release.
see changelog and description
Thentox 18 kwietnia 2018 o 20:08
i love using the portraits but anyway we can turn off spawn? :(
flupo42 6 marca 2018 o 6:50
+1 to Brother Draveurs request - this game lets us model pretty much every combination of opposition, and its fun to be surprised.
spacelord_xan  [autor] 4 marca 2018 o 2:35
The emblemes are disabled to be shown in the empire creation.
I will have a look on both issues.
Cain 3 marca 2018 o 12:40
Also I think you should make always spawning an option because I prefer just playing with random factions.
Cain 3 marca 2018 o 12:37
None of the emblems show up in empire creation.

I am sorry for the long waiting time!!

I made the changes so the mod should work fine with Stellaris 2.0
Kingdark 27 lutego 2018 o 15:57
based from how long it has been since the author answered, I'm guessing not. That's a real shame but oh well. Nothing can be done about it.
WarHog 27 lutego 2018 o 15:55
Is this mod going to be updated for v2?

It's a great addition to have, but unfortunately none of the races appear for me in v2.0.1
Kingdark 25 lutego 2018 o 5:16
Is this mod still active or is it abandoned?
Galaxar7 12 października 2017 o 15:53
update please
spacelord_xan  [autor] 12 października 2017 o 10:35
the zerg/tyranids act like normal empires.
Lieut_Rams 11 października 2017 o 19:37
quick question, do the tyranids/zerg act like a hive mind, or should i download a hive mind mod and make a custom race?
spacelord_xan  [autor] 6 października 2017 o 10:16
I am currently working on an update, but I don't know when It's finished..
SolidNutt 6 października 2017 o 7:26
pls update
Valkrem 1 października 2017 o 20:45
The Galactic Empire isn't fanatic xenophobe, maybe just xenophobe but that's also pushing it.
spacelord_xan  [autor] 22 września 2017 o 15:43
@Saucy thanks!
I'll add it to the description
Saucy 22 września 2017 o 15:34
its utopia, i bought the dlc and i could play those races
spacelord_xan  [autor] 22 września 2017 o 15:18
@Kingdark & Saucy:
I don't know if the mod needs any DLCs to run. But Ive made an issue about this and when I find the time I have a look on that topic.
Kingdark 22 września 2017 o 15:14
Yhea, I'm pretty sure that you can just install and play. No dlc are required.
Kingdark 22 września 2017 o 15:14
@Saucy: no dlc are needed I think. Otherwise it would've been mentioned.
Saucy 14 września 2017 o 19:36
what dlc is required for chaos and necrons???
Kingdark 27 sierpnia 2017 o 5:32
@ koshe(bam) I second that statement! (does your name have an actual meaning?)
koshe 10 sierpnia 2017 o 4:24
what about stargate and battlestar?
spacelord_xan  [autor] 21 czerwca 2017 o 12:07
@Gebbet: Shame on me, I've never played any X-Com game. But you can add it if you want, the "code" is all on github.
Gebthesquare 20 czerwca 2017 o 18:08
Ever thought about adding the factions from the X-Com franchise? I feel like they would be a good shout as the end of X-com and the start of Stellaris do translate well. I can think of three factions (The united X-com initiative, ADVENT and the Etherals) just off the top of my head.
spacelord_xan  [autor] 6 czerwca 2017 o 8:40
@finsthanian_nightbreed & @djbartlett:
I was able to reproduce this bug and for now I changed the species class for the borg to MAM. Thanks for the feedback!
Acresi 31 maja 2017 o 16:07
I can confirm that the issue is as a result of this setting species_class="ROBOT". When I create a new game with a race that has this setting, I am unable to recruit an army. When I modify this value to SYNTHETIC and create a new game, I am able to recruit armies. I am new to Stellaris, so perhaps I am misunderstanding some game mechanic
Acresi 31 maja 2017 o 14:13
Playing the Borg race, is there a reason the borg are unable to recruit armies? The box indicates there are no spacies on this planet that we can recruit armies from and that is my homeworld with full population. When I disable this mod and load, I am able to recruit armies again.
Finstha 27 maja 2017 o 5:56
I'm playing the German version 1.6 I had to learn, for Borg there are no Groundtroops ... I just changed the Government on this other races eating thingy (to get social research boost and the "we will add your biological and technological distinctiveness to our own"-feeling ... have I messed it up? Or is it normal? There's no fun in playing Borg if I can't attack smaller species and add their Social research to my species.
spacelord_xan  [autor] 26 maja 2017 o 6:13
First thanks to all for using and rating my mod and for all the feedback!!

Finally I found the time to make an update to the mod (added Starcraft and updated to new stellaris government types).
Enjoy!

@LuBu: I have not planned to release mods for single factions, but if you want to do so, just fork on github.

@Dust Bunny: Yes you can play all of the above factions, in the roadmap in the discussions you can find a list what this mod includes and what not.

@Duxun: thx!
Duxun 18 maja 2017 o 15:06
Faction*
Dust Bunny 15 maja 2017 o 16:22
I see that it says they are added as factions, but just be clear for my stupid brain, does this mean I would be able to select the Tyranids as my starting faction? :D If yes, what is included with said faction? :3c
Waagenator 9 maja 2017 o 9:14
This is awesome. The main reason I want to play Stellaris is to play in a Mashup with all my favorite sci-fi races. All that's missing from this for me are Mass Effect and Starcraft! Great work
Chonobataar 20 kwietnia 2017 o 19:33
It would be the most awesome thing ever, if you could make the Skaarj Empire in a seperate mod. If you decide too, please include a link so some of us that are having Steam Subscribe problems can also enjoy your work. They look so awesome!
ScOwOby 20 kwietnia 2017 o 4:35
1.5.1 Update would be awesome, just give the borg the genetic assimilation tools
SnaGon 11 kwietnia 2017 o 12:30
I'm waiting for update)
Hatsune Neko Gaming 6 kwietnia 2017 o 9:48

mmaddog5 21 grudnia 2016 o 13:06
@[AUT]spacelord_xan Sorry my good sir it's been a while and I forgot my topic but if I remember I will be sure to do that you make wonderful mods by the way. :)
spacelord_xan  [autor] 18 grudnia 2016 o 0:50
@mmaddog5 you can make a new topic in the discussion

@✪♕♠♥Rias♥♠♕✪ I don't know, I have never tried it. I'll added it to my backlog

@DanteLeo you can change that for your own, just hav a look in the 'prescripted_countires" files for the line 'spawn_enabled=always' and change this to 'off'
