I don't expect it to run on solar only, I just want to make sure I'm not completely borked if the fuel runs out before I can make it back to an ice field.

Hey Mate, ship is burning fuel only on the engines.
In Standby it will charge the batteries.
But it was not designed to go on solar power only, you will have to take some weaks and add sme more batteries andcaps.

Heyy, Ryo, how does this ship do when sitting still, with engines turned off? Looking to let it charge overnight if I can, but I'm wanting to make sure I won't log in to a dead ship =D

Tweaked energyprofil.
You will have to turn "on" one engine after you deployed this ship.
But remember to turn on only one of the engines. If you trun on the second one, its speed will go down to 380
