This is an amazing ship. But I have one problem; The ship keeps tilting to the side when it's first spawned in. How can I fix this??

MAC won't fire because projector is misaligned so the next round that is created materializes out of position.

Broken I've not been able to fire the MAC rounds without the barrel bing destroyed. think it might be door colisions or somthing. BTW love the ship .

Mac shell explodes in barrel even tho ship is not moving in the slightest also cant reload mac cannon once fired

love this build! would you be willing to put your bomb system, and missile system onto a frigate of mine? im having no luck doing it myself.

space balls i know i can use
but mass blocks looks better, and if i want to turn off the mass to prevent gravshields from being usefull i need a timer, and to power timer i need a battery anyways

also only reason to have a speed mod for this is so it gets to the target faster, making hitting a target easier
it hardly needs more penetration, my tests against flat plate targets have ended up in it going trough 17 layers of heavy armor
and against ships, it ges trough all completed ships i had at the time, trough the tickesk part of my heavy cruiser

only 3 real weaknesses it has it_

1, trying to hit something

2, if it hits a ship at an angle, the penetration may be anywhere from halfway trough the ship, to scratching the paint

3, its 100% useless against the modded shields


also i made a hollow point version that ruins all interior systems, and has like 2-5 exit holes :P

just a friendly note, use space balls instead of artificial mass blocks and a battery for a more cost effective bullet, also i recommend using a speed mod for best effect from the mac cannon.

pre-set controls and grouping does not always transphere in a copy paste

try cutting away the front, but instead of deleting it and pasting down onto another hull
try and paste the hull onto the front instead

Hi I'm trying to attach the font of this ship onto another, the Mac works perfect when Iv cut it away from the strident however when I then reattach it to another ship the round initiates as if it's firing however the round won't reload/rebuild am I missing something any help would be appreciated

they just help fix so many problems, or add things that i think just should be vanilla

Yeah YouTube is definitely the place to go if you need to make a weapon haha. Nonetheless, the weapon is definitely deadly. Tried it out last night, and it DID work well. Knowing my designing skills though, it definitely wasn't the actual way to do it.

just saw the weapon onces in a video far ago
all i did was add a timer to it to turn off the mass blocks a few sec after launch, making gravity shields useless

but they are nice weapons, cheap, easy to make and use, and deadly

True.... However the mod would have given the ship more firepower in a tighter package. But as this ship is fully vanilla, yeah, that would definitely work

MAC and railgun type weapons can be made in vanilla
just get a slab of blastdoors add some massblocks and a mergeblock
launch it to max speed using gravgens
and now you have something that can go straight trough most ships

Amazing Ship..... only way that you could improve it is if you added a MAC mod, too get the true HALO feel. Other than that, its a beautiful ship.

Although the ship looks great, it seems to have serious issues taking off in a planetary atmosphere, which makes it extremely underpowered in lift. Just saying

would a kinetic round made from blastdoors not be more accurate for a MAC?
and trust me, kinetic rounds does a ton of armor pen and overall damage
got one to peierce 16 layers of heavy armor

UNSC Infinity's MAC cracked a hole in Mantle's Approach, which was constructed of highly durable Forerunner metal. This MAC should at least penetrate two blocks of heavy armor.

Are you sure a small explosive tip is anything but a lag generator, though? I've tested plenty of rounds in my time, and the small warheads were of little effect on Large-size targets.
