I can start the scenario bit with the true start locations, are we supposed to start with no cities? I thought this was pre built empires

Its showing the scenario but no civs

I have the other civs enabled but it is still not showing them up in game.

You have to take the map from your mods folder and put it into your maps folder.
Civ 5 just works that way.

Amazing work. It would be awesome if there was a mod that changed the tech tree to the one we see in the Empire of the Smoky Skies. It would add to the steampunk-ish feeling of the series.

Quick Q. Do I need to enable your other mods for the other Civs to be available?

I downloaded the mod and the map is working. I'm currently playing as the firelord, but all of my units say they can upgrade without me actually being able to upgrade them, and my warrior is running in place. Anyone else experiencing something like this?

you have to copy the map from the documents/mygames/civ5/mods folder to your steam/steamapps/common/civ5 maps folder. No idea why it doesn't automatically work sometimes but this is a sure fix to it.

so i subscribed to it...but it wont show up after i go to the set up game screen. it appears on my mod list amd has the green checkmark on it but idk why it wont shop up for me to use as a map???

I may have fixed it in the upcoming update. It was associated with the dummy building that gave the faith bonus.

Have you thought of changing the City States to the Sun Tribe or the Fire Priests? Maybe making the Southern Water tribe one?

Hmmm, sometimes Civ 5 doesn't always download the mods after you subscribe to them. You have to delete a certian cache of log file to jump start it.

Thanks! He has made a map large enough to accomidate for all of our avatar civs. I havn't gotten around to adding it becuase of schoolwork and work but I'll get around to it eventually.

I want the true start but i dont want city states. Also I cant load any save game of this mod. It crashes every time and i have to start over.

To get ride of the city staes just unclick the scenario checkbox.

Go to My Documents > My Games > Civ V > Mods get the map file and copy it to the Map folder under the Civ V folder in Steam > steamapps> common > Civ V

Use the AI battle royal map. You choose the babylon civ and can watch the game from a sub in the ice.

So how do you set up the ai game? I tried to use an ingame editior with a default civ but it just messed up the TSL positions.

On the Mac you also have to move it to the Maps folder in the same Civilization V folder. Tried moving it inside the package to the same directory as on Windows and the app wouldn't launch.

Lord Arendelle I uploaded a Chin Mod, however there is a slight error and i'm not sure where it is. I believe most of the stuff is fine but, if you could take a look at it that would be great. I also plan on doing a 2 civ pack in the future which would be Zuko's Fire Nation/Earth Empire (Which will have more mondern units than the base versions)

however the sound on my laptop isnt workin no matter what therefore i dont have patience to do anything without it. using default and the enlightenment era mods as the base for all of the changes except for the ua which demands more. fyi my product will require that mod

actually for the most part i can do everything except custom models and stuff, ill make a mod this week and a few graphics as well as the rough rhinos will need fixing but i can do most stuff myself. I'm not adding bumi just too similar too earth and i play diety so the less civs there are the more chance i have of getting artemis. However i will use chin and indonesia

solution for random. emulate and copy kris mystic promotion.
normal 3 of 4 units have no bonus just place holder
20% chance bender
5% double bender promotion
so one of twenty units may be very op

sand bend and generic civ are hardest. altough morroco has a fitting improvement , for music egypt and assyria may work, generic may be a simple ua on a vanilla civ and may be just renames. most promotions are easy to make with base game files. randomness is hard

once you make one civ the actual code isn't the problem its art and music. tbh for chin its best to reuse mongolia as its so fitting, maybe with retex of the 3 and 4 ucs. there is an anime hell mod that gives u 3 random cities. for boomi maybe just use music from episode
