Use the DLC2 Abilities mod instead. This mod is NOT marked as wotc compatible.
Kevin from HP Customer Service 11 May, 2020 @ 11:29am
Again, not WOTC compatible, installed it without noticing it was broken, together with about 100 mods on a modding spree, took me forever to trace it back to this one. Rmember, few mods at a time kids.

In my case it broke the TLP attitude animations in the armory.

This mod is not WOTC Compatible, and I mean it's really incompatible. Download the DLC2 Mod he made. Works fine.

Just putting it here for anyone who wanders by this mod.
Juravis  [author] 27 Nov, 2017 @ 11:02pm
Use my dlc2 mod it has all of these included
KhanKeal 27 Nov, 2017 @ 10:28pm
this wotc compatible? or is there a line of code we can input to make it so?
Juravis  [author] 20 Mar, 2017 @ 1:16pm
You have to regularly trash the doc files. This is unfortunate but required when you install mods and then reload the game.

After simply deleting the ini files completely and re-installing the few mods I had. Everything seems to work fine, not sure what happened but I don't think it was this mods fault. Just XCOM itself acting strangely. Carry on and thank you for your time, I deleted my previous comments to prevent confusion. :)

I'm subscribed to this since day 1 and I've never encountered any problems like described. I suggest cleaning your \Documents\my games\XCOM2\XComGame\Config folder and letting XCOM repopulate it. You can also sub/unsub and try the default settings for a test Tactical (load your save and check), the changes are immediate.

its my own fault, its in the description for some reason missed the '++' at the end :/
nekojusan 11 Jul, 2016 @ 12:09pm
ah thanks for that will do :)
Juravis  [author] 10 Jul, 2016 @ 11:15am
@Arkhangel The LW gang also implemented longer bars
Arkhangel 10 Jul, 2016 @ 10:36am
@Advent Avenger: yeah, it was limit of icons. field medics just get a crapton of usable abilities. i noticed the same thing on a another trooper with a lot of abilities who was wearing an EXO-suit and could only use her heavy weapon if her gun wasn't needing to to reload, because the reload icon would push it off.
Juravis  [author] 10 Jul, 2016 @ 10:34am
Use Notepad++, not any regular programs.
nekojusan 10 Jul, 2016 @ 9:42am
it seems like editing the DLC ini file causes the weapons (axe melee, axe throw, rage punch etc) to do no damage.

i had to uninstall and reinstall hunter dlc to get the hunter weapons doing damage.
Arkhangel 20 Jun, 2016 @ 7:56pm
something to test.
Juravis  [author] 20 Jun, 2016 @ 2:39pm
@arkhangel If that's the case get the mod that allows 30 icons its on here
Arkhangel 20 Jun, 2016 @ 2:09pm
well, what i mean is it's possible some mod class skills overwrite Rage Strike being selectable is all. maybe there's a limit on the number of commands you can have on the bar.
Juravis  [author] 20 Jun, 2016 @ 11:03am
@Arkhangel This mod changes Ragestrike, it doesnt touch any classes directly.
Arkhangel 20 Jun, 2016 @ 9:50am
yeah, for some reason it doesn't work on field medics. it's possible it doesn't work on any mod class, worked fine on the specialist and sharpshooter i tried it with though.
Juravis  [author] 19 Jun, 2016 @ 11:49pm
@Lorem Ipsum I just checked the code, not much to customize. Remove the charges, then customize Action Points/Cooldown, and I might make toggle so you can fly anywhere on the map with no range restriction for fun (overpowered almost assuredly).
Lorem 19 Jun, 2016 @ 11:45pm
Ok cool, look forward to it.
Juravis  [author] 19 Jun, 2016 @ 11:43pm
I do, but I don't have it yet. I'm going to have to make a test plot and just give it to myself to test around it might be faster. But yes it's on the list.
Arkhangel 17 Jun, 2016 @ 7:52pm
well, the trooper i had it on is a Field Medic. i'll try swapping it to another trooper and see if it shows up again.
Zigg Price 15 Jun, 2016 @ 6:16pm
Noted. Always looking to learn more about this kind of thing. Thanks.
Juravis  [author] 15 Jun, 2016 @ 12:47pm
Pick "view all characters" it allows you to see invisible non space characters. You should remove them with delete then put a space. There's like 3 or 4.

After that you should just use it permanently as a regular editor. Its really good. Put it in twilight theme, its better for your eyes.
Zigg Price 15 Jun, 2016 @ 12:36pm
So when editing the file in Notepad +, is there code I should remove, or Notepad + does that already?
Juravis  [author] 15 Jun, 2016 @ 11:16am
@Arkhangel Honestly I have no idea might be a mod conflict. I'll check if there are more reports
Arkhangel 15 Jun, 2016 @ 11:00am
no.. because the icon showed up before the mod was there. and i hadn't touched the ini files in the mod previous to trying a mission with the suit.
Juravis  [author] 15 Jun, 2016 @ 9:37am
@Arkhangel Your DLC2 INI might be corrupt if you dont use Notepad++ there are some bad things that can happen!
Juravis  [author] 15 Jun, 2016 @ 9:37am
@Arkhangel You should still see the Ragestrike ability in your bar, something's wrong. Did you edit the INI file?
Arkhangel 15 Jun, 2016 @ 9:35am
turned this mod on and Rage Strike disappeared entirely off my suit wearer. this mean it's a melee attack like slash now that you just right-click for or am i missing something here?
Juravis  [author] 15 Jun, 2016 @ 8:14am
@beagle Wraith can be overpowered also depending on soldier mobility
darkzero 15 Jun, 2016 @ 5:53am
Thanks Advent Avenger!
Beagle 15 Jun, 2016 @ 12:51am
No worries, though to reply to people asking wouldn't it be OP - I don't think it would be any more OP than Tier 3 Wraith Suits allowing you to phase through walls multiple times a mission. It's a different kind of active ability for a suit - instead of being a ghost, you be the juggernaut. Instead of doing a hit and run back and forth through walls, you smash through it and your squad can follow you.
Zigg Price 15 Jun, 2016 @ 12:13am
Rather than ignoring terrain, it might be fun to have the suit do some sort of charge that would destroy terrain in its path. Sort of like the charge the Berserker had in EU and EW. Also, thanks for this. Your mods that remove charges and implement cooldowns are easily some of the best I use.
Juravis  [author] 14 Jun, 2016 @ 11:46pm
@jacobmaline117 Andromedon maybe. Keep to the lore ;)
Washing Machine 14 Jun, 2016 @ 11:45pm
it's actually pretty realistic that a berserker can smash through walls. harvesting it's power into gauntlets and a suit, it could happen. it's fantasy anyway. but I'd say there's enough plausibility.
Juravis  [author] 14 Jun, 2016 @ 10:30pm
@Thedeejnylv76 It would be massively fun and hilarious for a while though.
Thedeejnylv76 14 Jun, 2016 @ 10:26pm
@Beagle Don't you think that would be pretty massively OP? What kind of counter would the aliens have to this?
Juravis  [author] 14 Jun, 2016 @ 9:32pm
@beagle You could do it but its imbalanced and i wouldnt make this at least not in this mod. Im more of a balance realism guy.
Nasarog 14 Jun, 2016 @ 9:09pm
@Beagle - That would be insane.
Beagle 14 Jun, 2016 @ 9:03pm
What do you think of being able to set the Berserker suit as ignoring terrain, smashing through walls the same way Sectopods are flagged to do? Or having that be tied to an action?
Ser Lancelot 14 Jun, 2016 @ 9:01pm
As always, great work!
Juravis  [author] 14 Jun, 2016 @ 7:56pm
Icarus is next, but i'll need to play to check how it works in a campaign setting. Back to gaming!
