Hello,
I play a game with only this mod and I see IA with planets 310 size. It's not a problem for game's stability ? Maybe upload a limit size ?

@Taliesyn: It HAD been capped at 16. I guess the changes borked that. Sorry, i don't play the game anymore or maintain these mods as a result. If anyone wants to use any of them as a base for new mods they are quite welcome to do so.

Also, the AI will use it every time it comes up, no matter the size of the planet. I've been capturing worlds with 50+ size as a result, so I'm curious to see what size number the devs allocated for planet size and if it's going to cause a rollover to some negative value at some point.

It works, but due to changes in the influence system it actually costs nothing (but still takes it time). Additional you get an reminder when it expires.

The edict lasts for 6 months, except when other tech makes edicts last longer. Unfortunately, this means that the Land Reclamation edict takes longer to reset as well.

Belaaron- why don't you just refrain from using the edict using the fabulous power of self-restraint and not force everyone else to play your way by having the mod itself change?

I think these kinds of mods are a great addition to the game...but I really think being able to take what is initially a 5 tile world and jack it up to 25 (although it would take a long time and be somewhat expensive) is kind of excessive.

Perhaps make three technologies...the first providing a single-use edict. The next two providing two single-use edicts each. Total of 5 tiles. That's 5 tiles turning into 10 (which is acceptable in a pinch), 10 tiles turning to 15 which is pretty good, 15's into 20's, and 20's into 25's. Good boost, more spread out through gameplay. Could always go 5 techs with each a single-use edict, if the first option isn't doable.

Assuming this mod is still being updated?

How about a random element to the new tile? Mineral, Food, Energy, etc.. :)

All that means is the number in the txt file of the mod doesn't match the current version.Most things don't change when a update hits so those are fine.

maybe it's because it changes the techs related to terraforming and something else i'm using is too (which i think may be the case).

i had this break since 1.5 came out (same with 1.5.1 that i can tell).. what does it change exactly? maybe i have a mod conflict.

Have only see the ai use is once in quite a few games. So that might have been a bug but the planet i found was size 70 orso.

@Infinite well doesn't that seem obvious i'm not a modder so i don't know waht the update did to the mod. I have 40+ mods installed i'm not going to test each and everyone.I appreciate the work mod authors do but adding a new line here that says works with 1.5 would be nice.

I just trried it with the 1.5.1 beta and I didnt see the Land rec edict, might need updating but it could be a conflict with one of my mods im running in my game, not sure yet

Same here. One of the best mods out there. And if you just don't like the fact that it says outdated, just edit that one file and it's all good.

This is my favourite mod i cant play without it so i can tell you all complaining about it that it works perfectly fine despite the fact it says it is outdated i still use it for every game and with a ton of other mods and have had absolutely no issues.
