@rainbowbread That's the problem, you kept stuff that should have been incinerated! I just did it for the first time and scored 101% with an Exceptional stamp on my report. Easy.

cleaned up the entire mart, put things back on shelves, burned all obtainable weapons, and still demoted (80%) :steamsad: guess they didn't appreciate my stocking skills. ah well...

Yeah I've seen some people mention it. May add a bit more stacking on the non trash items (coffee cups etc) in future. See if I can find my original files.

This was AWESOME! As someone who does NOT "just burn everything", it was fun to actually have to put stuff where it belongs, or have a place to put things that aren't trash. Little disappointed there wasn't more to restock, but I know it's not everyone's c.o.t. Great work again! Thank you!

Yeah this was my 1st map with custom stuff, so I didn't make the factorys for them, didn't quite know what I was doing then.

what am i doing to your map=
fridges washers and dryers of various colours are also now collectable objects
anyways still heaps to do to this one as it will be a map update for moppington subway
in the map properties it has yours and my name s the creator
i will also give ya contributor options to the train map after i upload the map update
contributor will show both our names as map author in comments
dunno if it will let ya update the map though:)
so far so good 1 step at a time until your supermarket shelves get restocked etc:)
basically any object that is glued down is now a collectable object:)

ok I wasn't able to port this map into my train map but i was able to port my train map into this map:)
spent alot of work on fixing the custom items this level has=no factory archetypes?
had to make factory archetypes and new object archetypes for all custom debris items baskets trolleys tvs etc=doing that enables one to steal and keep this new stuff in the office)
i also made trolley roll around on the floor even if they upside down
can also get in a trolley and get pushed down stairs accross floors up and down the escalators by other players/ones self too:)
also fixed the clunky hold distance on trolleys!
i also made some changes to the escallators via new static mesh that has real escalator step treads as moving material n stationary material
still got heaps to do like change and mod pretty much everything in this level=quite fun so esp to be able to drive a train to Omnimart 2:albedothumbsup:

The cups don't provide a bonus, however they aren't trash so you gained nothing but lost nothing, except maybe saving some time by not having to run back and forth to the incinerator.
As mentioned below the can shelves and the toy/Halloween shelves will give you a bonus if stacked.

I don't know, why, but I stacked all of those cups. They don't shows up as a trash, so... Was it a good thing to do?

Side note: stacking those 4 shelves, 2 tin shelves and 2 toy shelves, would net you a bonus equal to fully filling a barrel or crate zone.

Y'know what, good question, and I'm surpised it's never been asked yet, guess everyone just burns everything.
The custom cans can be stacked in the 2 shelves, the rooks keep toys can be stacked.
that's all that works.
I've just took another look at the map, the "horror" shelf should have been stackable but i've messed up with the trash there.
I have to finish my new map, then small update to my evil dead map, then I'll come back to this and hopefully fix that horror shelf and make it a bit more clear as to what to stack, just putting a stacking zone decal should do yeah?

i'm enjoying the map, but i'm more than a tad confused about the specifics of the briefing. it said you could optionally restock the shelves (for a bonus?) instead of incinerating everything, but what's trash and what's safe for shelves? the sniffer just tells me everything is trash. it's especially confusing when most of the trash is also displayed on the shelves and in coolers as if they were meant to be stocked. just doesn't feel safe to even try the restocking option.

Yeah I couldn't even finish the map because the carts got on my nerves...and couldn't seem to find anymore baskets which seemed at least a bit more stable for the smaller objects.

This map be a lot cooler if it had the regular old bins and not these baskets and trolleys that are so unstable you might as well put like 2 items in each one just so your shit doesn't fly all over and out...

I find every time I get a trolley at the supermarket it's always the one with the wonky wheel, quite fitting really.
I tried my best to make the inside of it hold as much as possible whilst still being as stable as possible ( took many times to get it to the stage it's at), the games box bins work better simply due to the shape, the trolleys are long and sometimes held a bit lower in the hands than I set them up to be, which probably dosen't help. All adds to the challenge. Taking a little care whilst walking goes a long way.

i loved the map in general, And all of the little nice tid bits and details. however i have a huge problem with one of the bins. the shopping trolley to be more exact,
Its like handling an extremely large spaztastic box that only gets worse the more stuff you put in it, which isn't as much when compared to the normal bins, and if you bump into something you better pray to mr.clean that it doesn't just launch the contents of your trolley all over the place.

I guess for now then subbing then extarcting the .zip from viscrea\rustdownloads would be the only option I can think of untill the team get it sorted.

They are working on some fixes for Rust, for both uploaders and downloaders but we don't have an eta on it yet.

Looks like this player went to the games rustclientproccess.exe set compatibility mode and ran the game as admin, not through steam but directly from the folder.
Give that a try, it might help

O'Nesix, you should play his Morge map it's simply amazing, and you won't regret buying the DLC...I bought it just to play the mod maps from A JANITOR and I'm glad I did to be able to play these awesome maps from cannon =) Nice idea on the songs by the way!

Think i just didn't have the assets i needed/wanted to make this map the vision I had.

Well looking map.

What would I improve? (yet is just my artistic opinion)

I would put no mess trigger on escalators (because blood
and footsteps don't travel with texture and it look weird.

I would decrease the number of pickable objects,
replace them with static props.

At the end of the day it's a balance between good looking
map and fun gameplay - and in order to be fun it needs
to have just enough work to keep it interesting and not
too much to make it dull and repeating.

The first door after spawn is disproportional -
too high and keylock is flipped th wrong way

Bodies are skinned, yet shot - I would rather
put penetrated bodies there.

Other then that, I like the cart, I like overall
design (with the exception of previously mentioned
overload of object) and well put.

Another good map on your account cannon.

Which one do you think is best? (out of yours)

I'll admit the placing is a bit off, I had a few problems with the place being so open, kinda shot myself in the foot a bit there. With only a handful of trash items and body types I just couldn't come up with anyhing extra creative for the placement.
The garden center was originally twice the size, but I was using my own mesh that looked horrible and it got scapped 1/2 way through.
Map 5 already in the making, but waiting for the patch next week to see the new assets we get to work with (new map + santa and shadow warior stuff)

Got employee of the month so as promised here's my review. Only thing worth mentioning for constructive critisism is placing of items was a bit redudant, for exmaple 10 worms by each body (before you changed it..) 20 knives 15 toasters (estimating numbers here lol) on the shelves. I believe honestly the BEST display was the body in front the doors to the bathroom, placed before the shelves with the canned goods, I was impressed. Also..Well done on the escalator! It was nice to see something different and the challenge of not having bins. I would have liked the "garden center"/map size to be a bit bigger, but not complaining. Good job on the checkout counters! I almost lost it laughing at your sign entering and in the bathroom, lol. Nice job on working vending machines, and i really enjoyed this map. Thanks for donating your time so we can have a new map, overall 9/10 would play this map again =)

@xan666: I don't mind fixing things for one player, it maybe something that bothers a few/lot of players but they just dont comment and unsub, so every bit of feedback is needed.
So snapping was the problem, why didn't you just say :)
Fix is uploaded now, the baskets will now SLOWLY fade into the upright position.
(They are now a 90% copy, handling wise, to the original VCD bins)

@photogirl1221 Yes I could try not putting that much stuff, but truth be told, then I rather just bring everything with the water bucket. Same amount of stuff, less chance of it flying around.
