Is this mod compatible with TLE? The mod has yellow warning sign next to it on the mod list.

Don't use this file as-is and plug it into your game, use it as a reference. My functions may vary from the base game. But you can see the basics of how Hunker Down would work.

I'm slowly learning.. by that i mean i tamper with the config files of the various (200+) mods that i have, would be great if you could send that to me i'd certainly have a crack

Yes you can make the aliens use it. You'd have to code the AI yourself however as I have not made any code for that for public release. If you have some AI know-how, I can send you my own AI file and you can copy the relevant parts.

Any way of giving advent/aliens the AI to use it? say if they are low on health and being focused, or supressed?

Fixed a duplicate Hunker Down bug. Now if you have HunkerDownNoAnim, the HunkerDown regular ability will not show up (as its supposed to). Think of it like LongWatch replaces Overwatch!

Alien animation is patched (fixed). I had to give them an ability called HunkerDownNoAnim which is an exact copy of Hunker Down but with the effect name "HunkerDownNoAnim" which is the exact same effect but since it has a different name it won't play the Native Core animation. Fiew.

It's not as easy as that. If I substitute the visualization function for Panic you'll get the red line also I'm pretty sure.

@mcdenny Also from the storyline i get the feeling ADVENT isn't on the panicking side, i dont know how far you are in but to me ADVENT soldiers are nothing more than flesh puppets

Do you think it would also be possible for default panic checks to run on ADVENT & aliens too? If an early game Officer gets gunned down, don't you think it'd be sensible for at least one of the basic Troopers to loose their cool?

(Possibly dumb) Suggestions: Why not use the panic animations? If I remember correctly from my last playthrough, they should be pretty fitting for hunkering down. Also, couldn't you just use the normal xcom panic animation for the advent troopers?

If anyone can tell me how to play the sound, icon, and text by skipping the animation it would be appreciated.
