The armor wasn't made as a fan mod for the ShoddyCast's videos. midtek made the armor, just for his own thing and as well published for the others to use. ShoddyCast later, used the armor mod for his own companion.

Hey N7Legion, the Storyteller is a character in the ShoddyCast youtube videos, the armor for fallout new vegas is a fan mod so shouldn't you have ShoddyCast in the Credits?
