Do not use tf_movie models if you are using torso cosmetics too. Because they programmed different.
Use playermodels:
player\scout.mdl
Find the appropriate character
In the Animation Set Editor, drag the character to the Dead of Night model (Also in A.S.E.)
--If you did it right, a lock should appear next to the D.o.N.
Select the D.o.N.
In the Procedural column, with the D.o.N. still selected, drag the Zero slider all the way
Boom, you've applied it to that character. This applies to every single cosmetic that isn't attached to the character, not just this.
